This is a fun exercise and I don't think a little bending of the rules or a simple oversight are a problem, so the Santa Claus/Give-away votes are totally fine with me and I must admit I voted for Santa Claus in every category I could (I am allowed to say that now after voting is closed, am I?).

As for participation I still think fewer categories would be better and a few categories are quite repetitive (like best GPRO Crew member for example).

The low participation is purely due to the holiday season, surely. The whole game slowed down to 1 race per week, for 3 weeks. I also had the impression it wasn't a very active season on the forums, which also made it harder to come up with nominations for things like post of the season, or best forum topic.

You've done a good job with it and I'm sure next time can be more active again. :)
