I have some good news Joan Centellas my teammate from FO will join the Meeting, will go to the karting and maybe some other activities too.

So this is the participant list:

Joaquín Quintana
Jon Beagles
Jun Ho
Harri Pakosta
Stefan Voggenreither
Stephan Haider
Atis Praudins
Joan Centellas

We need at least 2 more people to book the karting session, but id like to be more people, the more the merrier!!!

Great news! :)

That is already shaping up to be a great meeting - NB worth noting most Karting places will be happy to run a 10 person event with 8 people, as long as we pay for 10. i.e. we all pay a little bit extra to cover the missing 2 people.

Ofc if we can find 2 more people (even if they have nothing to do with GPRO lol - do you and Joan have any friends who might just come go-karting for fun???) that's the ideal!

Anyone flying from England (I think that's @Jun Ho (A52) and I tbh!) - after my holiday to Malta last week, I've posted some travel advice in the UK Facebook group for us all to look at that is specific around flying to/from Spain :)

My profile says that I am from Munich, I am not close, but I doubt very much I won't join 🤓
And Siste attendend already a few meetings, and all of them were not in Spain... 🤷‍♂️

And maybe it is a chance for you both to have a nice talk and clear some things. With a beer (or two, three...) it is always easier... :-)

Yes, I do. And already for about 20 years :-D

I don't know right now, which meetings he attended and which ones he missed - but at least Jon and Stephan know him too in person. I think, Jun maybe also.

Hi JQ!,

I see it wrong, more than anything it is due to Covid. Before we got the second dose of the vaccine, my girlfriend gone infected and we were in quarantine for almost 3 weeks. Now we are well luckily, but when I told her about the possibility of attending this meeting, she told me not to even think about it. Well, that's the point. A year without Covid danger I would like to attend without a doubt, but this year I am not taking any risks. Since this happened to us, we only hang out with the closed circle of family and very close friends.

Good luck and greetings to all.

As double vaccinated and not being able to infect and kill my mom aymore either, I'm starting slowly to get "I don't care" attitude to covid. Anyway, I saw that Finnair would have some cheap flights, so I thought that maybe I should do a weekend trip. And then I remembered this. But don't count me in. Knowing myself, I never get it booked. And I suck at karting. And the flight schedules are a bit meh also.

Would be awesome to see you though @Jukka Sireni (Ret) if you could make it happen - plus you won't be alone in being crap at Karting, you can keep Jun (and likely a couple of others if history is anything to go by) company lol ;)

That is good news indeed!
About Covid situation here, restrictions has decreased: restaurants are now available until 01.00 am open and discos which has terrace and open spaces might be able to open in 1-2 weeks until 03.00 am.

Covid situation here might be the best or close to that since the pandemic started and it keeps improving.

@Jukka Sireni (Ret) we have plans for bowling and sightseeing too. karting would just be a small sliver of the proceedings :)

I didn't kart for the Manchester and the Latvian Meetings, so you can just chill with some others who may not want to kart too. :)

Jun is correct - while it would be great if everyone karted, it's far from mandatory :)

Most of the time is spent between talking about GPRO, drinking, joking about GPRO, watching F1, discussing GPRO, bowling and - if we're lucky - chatting about GPRO :P

Can't remember if I mentioned the HUGE amount of time we spend teasing Jun about how bad he is at GPRO :P :P :P

(Not that I'm any better lol - and you're in a strong team now, so perhaps the last holiday we can do that!)

What kind of time tables people have. It seems that if I was to come, the only sensible option would be arrival at Thu 20:00 and departure at Mon 10:00. Not ideal, especially the departure time sounds risky for missing the flight. :/

Sightseeing sounds good. Bowling depends on form. I have luckboxed 201, but that was before covid.
