Helloes,
I`ve been seeking on forum this idea but I didn`t find it.

For amateur drivers it`s extremly hard to sign a sponsor (first season I didn`t sign any, last 2 seasons I managed to sign only 1 and it takes almost 15-25 races to sign a deal) would be great if we could extend current contract if sponsor is happy, would be much easier for amateur drivers, I don`t know how it looks in higher leagues. There could be some disadvantages like less money or smth like that but till i get 5 sponsors i`ll take all of them

Higher classes are harder.

No needs to change this.

You have to negotiate skillfully.

I think if anything should change, it would be the situation a sponsor is 5/5 happy then give you the chance to resign. But it would become easier to sign new sponsor so probably it's a no

extend current contract

So ~15 managers could hoard all available sponsors extending them indefinitely, leaving no chance what so ever for the rest to get a sponsor

This could be remedied. Generate multiple sponsors.

The idea is sound, it's the execution that is the problem. Presumably it would involve a massive rewrite of scripts, in reality any sponsor would want to remain with a successful organisation whilst its mutually beneficial.

The manager cannot terminate the contract of the active sponsor. I know well? (Then, this too needs to be changed.)

Higher the level you are, most difficult is to sign a sponsor

IRL I suppose it would be the same...

I meant that negotiations can least longer than contract with sponsor, so how can I inrease number of sponsors... I stick with 1 or 2

And it's what we can see irl. Maybe sponsor would increase his expectations and drop on money each year to encourage people to seek for new sponspors and dont stick with same 5 forever.

... and a very good parody from the Gods of Sponsors:
March 27, 2020 Season 75, Race 5 Lycoz has decided to withdraw from the negotiations (in 30% Green) /gr/NegotiateSponsor.asp?ID=1270

... and that after 5 wins in 5 Races.
... Another one who is happy 5 out of 7 ... stays at 5 after 5 to 5 wins and I'm sure he'll leave me with the first Chanche. In the past Do the same after 11 PODIUMS in the series that remained consistently in Happy 1 !!!!!!

... If it doesn't STOPS soon the Rooky Groupe will be the Amater Groupe.

Good morning from beautiful Sithonia.-

There are multiple things which impact's how fast you will sign a sponsor and if you are stuck with 1 sponsor per season, then you are doing something wrong or you just don't know what to pick. BTW good race results, improves the speed at which you get the sponsor.

Great idea but should be with a twist...linked to be a super happy sponsor and there could be a limit of retaining only one sponsor until it leaves.

@Wojciech Skotarek (A7)

If you manage correctly you can have 5 active sponsors much much easier in Amateur than in higher tiers.

When in doubt try different things and see if they improve your sponsor situation.

Current system is fine.

Sponsors are too difficult in Amatuer.....?

Dear OP

You may want do a little search on the forums about the views of amatuer by the veterans of the game for a little bit of perspective on thw reality of amatuer good sir.

The reality, to be blunt, is that everything about amatuer, sponsors incl, is an absolute cakewalk and as such managers actually relegate back down on purpose to rebuild finances and get 'rich' with $200mil being easy peazy.

You've been around all of 5 odd seasons. The path to progress and improvement would be to admit there is alot of learn and set your mind to leaning rather than choosing to make the game easier, that wont do anything but actually make your situation worse as the primary ppl who will gain anything will be the managers who were doing better than you already thanks to their greater knowledge and experience.
