I'm just wondering. I am in my second season and have not seen any crashes yet. Overall the number of DNFs are extremely low. I don't have a problem with that, but am just curious, if this is kept very low on purpose.

Not sure but i have seen cars leave the track spinning and hit the barriers and quickly carry on again not really losing much time. You’d think they would be damaged and have to at least pit....

Opposite to your experience I had a race ending DNF in my very first race (puncture). Back then I thought 'cool, they even similate randoms." Apart from blocking being overpowered there's nothing in this (good) game I hate more than randoms like that... Especially since success comes with planning in this game.

EDIT: some say you should plan for randoms... I say BS... A management game involving planning shouldn't rely on randoms. Not at any level but especially the higher ones

My first and only race when I joined at the end of last season ended in a crash at the START. Largely my setup I'm sure.

Crashes only occur through bad set up and driver inexperiences ( as in real life ), bear in mind this is only a game for fun :P

Yes, they only seem to happen right at the start, though.

Nope. They happen at every time.
Those that happen at the start of the race, are start crashes and they have to do with your risks.
The rest may happen even at last lap.

Edit. If you are referring to crashes and only crashes, then yes, they happen only at lap 1.
