Just asking if anyone has got their pole position - need to put in what season, at which circuit, and if they enjoyed it

Got my first pole in S33 R1, first time with a driver I’d hired myself, wasn’t expecting them to be so quick. It was only my 18th race so I hadn’t worked out the fuel and tyres too well so ended up on a bad strategy.

i was more shocked than happy, my second pole was better. :)

S75, R10. Was my third or fourth race overall, accidentally won the pole position. I was both shocked and happy, the latter kind of souring after realizing that I only got the pole because I raced with very little fuel and I had my first pit stop in lap 3. That being said, still was happy and was a learning experience.

That's always the way when one gets one's first pole =] The trick, of course, is knowing how to make use of it.

My first pole (S75 R3) was ruined by my strategy (I remember weather changes but I didn't think about them properly). My second one was in this season (with a little more experience) in Rafaela, and it came with a victory in my country so I enjoyed it a lot.

But the thing I remember enjoying most was my first victory, it was really shocking (in India, I started 3rd and it was a very rainy race), it was so unexpected :D

Season 37, race 5 Österreichring. Not particularly as I somehow dropped 8 positions to finish outside the points. Think I was still learning the difference between quali driver and race driver (something something Jarno Trulli...).

Don't remember my first pole position. I'm sure I was excited then.

Only two things matter: Your last one and your next one.

Unfortunately its been awhile since I was on pole (I think, I can't remember)....

I really only care about season finish position.... I haven't finished first in a season since rookie ... like season 39 or some crap. I suck :(

Edit... hey I just looked and I had three poles last season.... I still suck though

Just your memory. Long and short term memory. Perhaps they are just retiring. Worn out. :-)

They say a good manager is one who makes sure his people can get on with their work. Letting others score points for you is the ultimate management skill. :)

I got my first pole position in my first race (S35, R1) and I didn’t realize that I should celebrate, thinking that it’s not quite hard to get it. I finished 14th in the race anyway.

I got my first pole position was in Poznan in S46, R9. I received some help with the setup and technical problems made me finish third eventually. I had to wait 10 seasons and 2 races for my next pole, this time in Ama. I got the other 22 in only 2 separate seasons. :P

S41, R9
My 5th race.
My 1st pole position transformed to my 1st win too.
Probably my group was quite easy and slow as I didn't know what I was doing and I also had finished 2nd in my 2nd race.
Soon enough I joined my first team thanks to my wife that she found a friend from another online game and this team helped me a lot to evolve quite fast.
