Quote ( Kuba Szajbel @ August 7th 2020,14:08:39 ) Hundreds of women you personally know have to do that kind of stuff with the boss? Ya, right. You watch too much TV. No,I don't watch TV the last 18 years. Except from F1 races or Football games. But my experience when I was working at bars and restaurants is that almost every girl was mistress of the boss or other "important staff". Also a friend of mine had a cafe-bar and I've seen what happened there for at least 4 years that I was present there. Personally I am glad that you don't believe me. This means that in your country this isn't a common thing. And I also have the opposite examples from boys that had to accept the "invitation" of their female bosses Which by the way were quite old,fat and ugly.
Quote ( Luke Frost @ August 7th 2020,13:38:06 ) And which post were you offended about? Offended? What makes you think I will ever be offended from any kind of comments typed from a keyboard of anyone that doesn't know anything about me? I will be amused, not offended. After all,if someone wants to offend me and I respond to this,he will get the pleasure that he achieved his goal. Stupidity is invincible, unless you ignore it ')

They don't look equal to me... unless you're talking about women's rights...

And of course, I 100% agree women have the right to have a face...
(that was the issue, right?)

Another shy driver... Now, driver is a man. /br/DriverProfile.asp?ID=5892 So, in GPRO some drivers have face, some don't. Next time select a driver with face.
Enjoy race today, folks!

Sorry no, I'm shy and have a bad-hair-day every day :)

(that was the issue, right?) Yeah, though in the name of equality, there are several male-named drivers without faces too.
Furthermore, in the name of equality, there are no genders anymore, apparently we're all just genderless blobs

I'm quite tired of males appealing to the humor excuse when making a certain joke that makes fun of a historically degraded group, in this case women. If you want to mentally excuse your own macho humor in order to feel better, just don't, assume you were taught to find funny such machist joke and try to avoid it, if anything, keep the jokes for your private environment, where people that know you well are able to judge or not based on your personality, don't do it in a public environment where all we can know about you is that machist conduct. These jokes are just a tiny part of a large group of things integrated in everybody's life, they create school and don't make justice to the 99'9% of the women who have earned their work in a legitimate way.

Do they expect doors to be opened and bills to be paid for them? If so my female friends must be pissed at me? Or you need to meet better people. Or I missed some element of sarcasm in your post? Guessing it is one of the last two.

The original post is a joke itself.
But apart from that, what is the problem with jokes?
Is there any prohibited matters that people can not joke with? And WHO decides that?
Is there any other form of expression that is not allowed? Some things you can not paint or write a book about?
A joke is people making humour after a serious matter. It's not a statement about that matter. If you can't understand that, I'm sorry about it, but that's your problem. If you can't take a joke, that's too sad. Literally.
If you don't like a painting, do you destroy it?

Too many people in general 'feel' that this type of 'humour' is just in jest and they are only being "funny". :/
What is not being considered, is that acceptance of remarks and actions, that reinforce the inequality and lack of respect, enable such views and actions to continue.
Riu, do you think making 'fun' of... let's say a person with a Cerebral Palsy is okay? Would you feel comfortable to do that?
I would hope that you would have decency and compassion for that person and refrain from making her/him the 'butt' of a joke.

We are talking about a bad chauvinist joke here, mate, not the Mona Lisa. Maybe the shit you are smoking is too strong?
And several people explained why here is not a good place for that, if you want to pretend is a matter of liking it or not, thats your problem

Know what we should all do now? Find a black driver's profile and do some racist jokes. This should be so funny. And it won't be racism because the driver isn't real! This is a genius plot.
I wonder who educated some guys around here. I was told to respect women. My mom was one.
I am baffled by mankind, honestly.

damn, the politically correct will still end the human race ...
People get offended so easily nowadays...

I think you are a bold ugly and uneducated person who could never really understand women because they don't like you but you still pretend you have sex when your dick doesn't even go up.
Offended?
Yeah, political correctness will kill this world.

The problem is not the jokes, or what is said.
The problem is the danger of controling what is correct or not. What you can say and what you can not say. And who will control it.
I have lived in times of censorship and didn't like it. You could have been arrested for what you said or write.
I will defend freedom of expression until I die. I will aslo defend freedom and democracy. Freedom means you can do or say whatever you want, without interfering with other people's right to be free as well.
People think their idea is always the right one. Other oppinions are always wrong. Have your oppinion, respect other oppinions.

Quote ( Andre de Carvalho @ August 7th 2020,17:53:08 ) Yeah, political correctness will kill this world.
It probably will or at least cause many, many wars in the future (I'm not joking).
Given we have 90%+ male user base and in light of some of Andrew's posts in the past I don't find his joke particularily funny though.

Sure, we should all respect jokes about how females have to use sex to get jobs. And we should do this for the sake of our holy democracy because apparently people should have the right to be disrespectful.
Quiet they would be poets.
It's not opinion mate, it's education.

OK it's a joke and I understand it but.... Women have no face, and women on knee and making some things are not goo jokes, only bad jokes. If you are a woman, how you will take this in your face?

Freedom means you can do or say whatever you want, Isn't that the definition of anarchy,
“Freedom is the choice to do what is right. It is not doing whatever you want, because there is no guarantee that what we want is healthy or positive. in other words freedom is not an absolute right (to do what ever), it's more of like a responsibility

Quote ( Mikko Heikkinen @ August 7th 2020,18:21:09 ) Isn't that the definition of anarchy,
I get what you are trying to say here but i have to tell you anyway that this is not the definition of anarchy.
Still agree with the second part of your post.

Altough I don't agree with you, I will always defend your right to have an oppinion.
By the way, Oppinion is the lowest step on the stairway of knowledge.
Everytbody has one.
And everybody thinks their oppinion is the absolute truth. ;)

Rui, if one of your kids would say such a joke in public what would you do?
Laugh? Tell your kid he is entitled to have am opinion and it's fine? Or educate him to not offend people in such a rude manner because it's just wrong?
