Hamilton has the corona virus, who will replace him?
Or who deserves to replace him?

Stoffel Vandoorne
My favorite (not only because he is a Belgian driver), he has driven two whole season in one of the worst cars in Mclaren history, even Alonso couldn't drive some decent results with it. He made some progress in the Formula E now and he knows what winning is with a Mercedes car. So less pressure and he will be more comfortable in this position

George Russell
The most promissing Rookie they said, I think he is way overestimated. He couldn't score any points in two years of formula 1... He is the first driver in the history of Williams who hasn't scored no points in two whole years of Formula 1. Even Kubica, Sirotkin and fucking Lance Stroll scored points for this team with a really bad car the last 3 years. Massa was the last decent driver with a reasonable car. But if George is as promissing as they said, he would have scored some points already...

But winning F2 and GP3 makes him a good candidate.
Aitken to Williams would be a mess in the back with 2 rookies in 1 race, it will guarantee an accident in the back haha.

Hülkenberg
The favorite of the crowd has driven a pink Mercedes this season, twice so it could be a reasonable and explainable choice. More logical than picking Russell out of Williams for 1 race... It will frustrate Russell to be back in Williams after this race...

Robert Kubica

Hahahaha no, he is testdriver for Alfa Romeo this season, so the Ferrari side. Really sad would be fun if he could replace Russell instead of freaking Atkin (I hate the amount of Englishman in Formula 1)

Btw Aitken don't deserve a seat in F1... He is currently P14 in F2, last year 5th in an year of bad drivers... only his result of P2 in GP3 is interesting behind the one and only Russell... But before, well anybody interesting...

Well I mean this might be the race Russell finally scores his first point. Turns out all he had to do was not drive a Williams.

You shouldn't put such high expectations on him. :P

Well if Bottas can score points in the same machinery it follows that he should.

Bottas is definitely not the driver you should compare Russell with.

I would like to see Hülkenberg in that car because he is so talented yet unlucky driver. He deserves after many years of service a good car to show what he is really capable to do.

Also I would like to see a new team in F1 who employs both Perez and Hülk. They deserve seats in my opinion.

A new team with both drivers would be nice indeed.

About Bottas, I think he has to prove himself this weekend, if Russell beats him, he can leave the team after next year... Maybe immediately, it will ruin his (tiny bit) of confidence in himself..

And if Russell wins the race, it's clear that it's the car and not the skills of Hamilton that make it win.

Why can't it be because Russell is just that good?

I'm sure that Russel won't win. This race show us Hamilton's phenomenon and will prove that car "doesn't matter" so much :) Bottas have the same car, why doesn't he have world championship?

Possible podium for me: 1. Max or Bottas 2.Bottas or Max 3. Perez
And Russell will be in point for sure :) In the top 5

Especially considering Botas' struggles in comparison to Hamilton in the same car.

I just hope people don't judge Russel on this weekend alone, if he doesn't do as well as hoped. Jumping into a new car can't be an easy thing especially when you're used to driving something with the performance of a G-Wiz. He is still a pretty inexperienced driver so hasn't got the depth of knowledge of F1 "machinery" that someone like Hulkenburg had when he jumped in at short notice.

He's tested this car, not enough time is not an excuse. He needs to get a podium at least.
