I notice you completely forgot to mention your complete bias BS towards Red Bull & Max, Ceapa

See Matija ? That´s the problem with this thread , instead of reading people around here and commenting on the subject , we like to throw everything to each other´s face ..that´s what makes it dangerous :)

Wassup andrew , been 10 years already ?? ...you´ doing good man , keep taking notes :)

Now go on and notice where and what was the exact line for which I even started to comment again on this subject ... use the spare time you have left since they closed the Ham&Mercedes Love Post-Cards&Letters shop , until after next race ;)

https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/alonso-verstappen-hamilto...
Two-time world champion Alonso disagreed with the stewards' assessment, and reckons it was just a racing incident made look more serious by Verstappen's car going airborne and ending on top of Hamilton's Mercedes.

"They are there, both champions, and they are always fighting to the limit and today... seems an unfortunate position and corner and kerb, the car jumps a little bit, and then they touch tyre with tyre, and the rubber makes a car fly," Alonso said.

"But it's low speed, you know, they are at 30 or 40km/h, there is no danger, there is no nothing.

"So I don't think that was a big thing. Silverstone probably yes, but today it was just a racing incident."

Alonso added: "I think Lewis tried to run wide in Turn 1 to maybe force Max to cut the corner. Max doesn't cut the corner, stays on the outside, but then there is no corner possible to make on the inside for Turn 2.

"They both did what they should do, you know, and unfortunately, they touched each other.

"I saw the replay of the start as well, and Giovinazzi and Leclerc, they touched in the same way. Stroll and Perez, they touched at the start in the same way [in] Turn 1 and 2. But they didn't touch wheel to wheel, so it's not the same outcome.

"But this is a very typical manoeuvre [in] Turn 1, Turn 2, and they were unlucky [that] they touched tyre with tyre."

Zhou strongly linked to the final Alfa Romeo seat, apparently the deal is all but complete.
Chinese sponsors are probably pushing this quite hard considering Bottas probably doesn't bring much in for the team and they're likely to be a bottom two team next season without heavy investment.

Great driver and I love seeing a Ferrari sister team with no ferrari academy drivers in it, but I can't help but feel that Alfa would have a pretty sub-par lineup next season and could've done much better.

Seems similar to Silverstone where Hamilton seems to be "accidentally" bit to far from inside of the corner.

So, who is winning the Russian GP? :)

Amazingpin surely.

- a Briton won in Britain
- a Dutchman won in Netherlands
- a part Italian driver won in Italy
- the next is a foregone conclusion. Mazepin will win in Russia.

And a Belgian won in Belgium :P

I really don't care who caused todays accident between Verstappen and Hamilton, but Max's action in just walking past Hamilton without bothering to check on whether the driver whose head he had just driven over was ok, or if he could help, marks him out as a vile human being.

Sorry if it is too late to reply to this and maybe somebody has already done.

You need to look at the replay again.

Max is walking out of the crash and looks toward Lewis.

At the same.moment Lewis is acelerating trying to get his car out.

It is normal to assume that Lewis is OK if he's trying to back out.

You also have to remember that there is no way for Max to know that his car's tyre had grazed Lewis's helmet

Finally, someone who actually watched the replay and saw the same thing I did. Max was not ignoring Lewis, he saw quite obviously that Hamilton was okay. No need to go any further... especially the way Max was probably feeling at the moment. (as I tried to explain earlier)

Seems the world does not see Hamilton as an "aggressive driver" Although, he's pushed a lot of other drivers off the track and caused his share of racing incidents.

They are both equally brave and talented and willing to go to the step beyond the limit. That's F1 racing to the limit. Bottas doesn't seem to quite have that level of confidence to 'stick it in there' and take the position. That is unfortunate because he is a good driver just, not the drive to win that other's exhibit. (ie Nico Rosberg)

Not that it matters but, I disagree strongly with Max's penalty... as Toto said 'It takes two..." in Silverstone. ;)

You all have a good race, today :)

agree with Roy mostly, Hamilton and Verstappen both aggressive drivers, you don't get that level of success without being it.
along with being a bad loser, driven, competitive, and win at all cost attitude., that's what makes it exciting. long may it continue too.

Considering your reasoning in post #930 , it doesn´t matter who you say you are, Andrew...all that matters is what I notice you are forgetting to mention ;)

Shaun knows already , since Silverstone , towards which team I am actually biased , but he forgot to mention, too... out of his love for Aussies , he says...I call it ass kissing so you can both call it a nonsense and keep a dry-clean reputation ;)
