yo! I can't be the only one who likes Hockey?? Season kicked off this week - inter division play only... realigned to keep Canada in their own bubble!

Who you got? Who's your team? Do you love hockey??

GO BRUINS!

I prefer Rink Hockey wish is quite popular here in Portugal :P

But yeah, I'm also a big fan of NHL and this will be quite a challenge season.

I'm up for the Capitals!

Chara was a staple in the team for 14 seasons... and a huge part of our success... but ultimately he's 43, and has lost a step each season for the last 3... we wanted to keep him but as defensive specialist and he wanted a bigger role... understood when you've been an all-star, captain and one of the best defenders in the league period.

time will tell, but they are young on D and long term, if these kids develop, that will translate to success. McAvoy is the real deal and Carol is turning into a nice shutdown guy... so I'm not mad.

Leafs? How do you feel about Rask :)

Hockey's Back!!
Really excited to see an NHL thread today! It's great to see the boys back on the ice and to have something to look forward to after work every day!

My two favorite teams are the Vancouver Canucks and whoever is playing Toronto.
Besides Toronto I also dislike the New York Islanders (82), New York Rangers (94) and everybodys least favorite team the Boston Boooins (2011)

Pot stirred =)

Enjoy the season guys

I don't follow Hockey as much now as I once did, but I follow the Senators as my Godchildren live in Ottawa. When I next go over there to visit them, I'm hoping to get to a game.

Saturday Hockey Night in CANADA! It has been to long!

Oilers fan, looking forward to them spanking the Canadiens tonight! McDavid / Draisaitl one two punch will be lethal this year now that they are both healthy! If our goaltending does not let us down, we should be in for a solid playoff run.

An all Canadian division with only intra division games is going to make for an awesome year!

top storylines for everyone so far? Buffalo being slightly disappointing? Same in Edmonton?

Not surprised with either to be fair.. still question marks in goal for both teams.

Following my country players how they are doing in NHL.

For now only 2 of them playing, Blueger in PIT scored very nice SH goal vs Cap by playing 3vs5.

And our Rockstar Merzlikins in CBJ. I love his energy. Sad that season starts with 2L.

Very sad that Buffalo player Girgensos is out for whole season after injury. He is hard working player.

Don't know what will be with Balcers after the Ottowa trade him back SJS.

Because of time difference, its almost imposible to watch some game in TV, and ofc because i'am truck driver and don't have time, but i really like NHL.

Lil dream is to watch some game live.
Would like to see can Ovi beat Gretzky goal record?

Edmonton has been OK at best. Should have won their last game in Toronto (although they should have lost the one before) but at 3-4 no need to panic. Only games they really looked bad was in Montreal.

In the Canadian division the team that has been the biggest disappointment is the Canucks. As an Oilers fan I will confess I do not personally find it disappointing!

NHL has started recently. Let's discuss it.

Shall Bedard be as good as Connor McDavid?
When will Detroit come back to life?
How many empty netters will Ovechkin score this season? Will this number be higher or lower than his even strength goals?

Those are just a sample of many questions that I care about at the start of the season.
