Lost 3 motivation after finishing 3rd. Is that normal or bug?

While race position does have a strong influence on MOT gain or loss you can see from these responses that race result is only one of a few things which influence MOT. results.

Try to look for differences in all of your package: driver, TD, Staff, Facilities, test points, and more and particularly for races where you have the same race result but different MOT gain/loss and you might be able to figure out a few other things which influence the end result. It is there is you just look for it.

Keep in mind that GPRO often does not make sense and at other times it is just a matter of how you look at the problem and maybe it does make sense if you can see it from the right angle.
