Ricardo and Mairo stand on opposite sides of the courtyard. Countless bodies stank the area, but neither were bothered with the smell. Ricardo had Assassin Miles by his side, while Mairo had his trusty COVID-68 syringe by his side. They both knew that one of them were going to die. And it has all come down to this. One shot to rule them all.
Mairo was the first to move, sidestepping everything Assassin Miles throws at him. Ricardo had sweat profusely flowing from his forehead as Mairo dodges shot after shot from Assassin Miles. Can someone actually defeat Assassin Miles? Just as when he thought that, Mairo stabbed Assassin Miles in the neck, completely paralyzing him. Assassin Miles was shook. He just stood there while Mairo found his composure and stared right at Ricardo. Ricardo looked up, gulped and tried to run away, but was paralyzed due to sheer fear. Assassin Miles delayed the COVID effect in order to do this one last attack for Ricardo. Ricardo looked up, completely shocked, and fell to his knees crying, knowing that he has won Ready, Aim, Fire XXV. Mairo looks back at Ricardo, and smiles. He knows he will be back for the next edition, and slowly faded away and died.
Ricardo was the victor, but not with his sacrifice. With Assassin Miles by his side, he did a proper burial for the guy who has saved his life. While Ricardo stood there, an anonymous person hands Ricardo an envelope. Inside the envelope was a letter and it says:
"Congratulations on winning the 25th edition of RAF. This was definitely a tough match, and you prevailed. However, you are now invited to the XXVI edition. You will need to defend your crown. Are you able to do this in the heat of Mexico? Will you be able to prevail in the next edition of RAF? If you are accepting this, you are not a coward.
Anon."
Ricardo looks at the letter, then looks at Assassin Miles. Ricardo smiles, and he......
