Group 6

Jens had a nice start to his final round as he grabbed a mid-way Birdie on his front nine. He did drop a Double Bogey on the back nine but he also picked up 4 Birdies and an Eagle to finish on 67 and 5 Under Par. All 4 rounds were Under Par

Sheri had a very mixed round where she could not get consistency as she dropped a Bogey on the front nine. Her back nine was up and down with 2 Double Bogeys and 4 Birdies as she ended the day at 73 and 1 Over Par – probably not enough to challenge for the lead but still a good day.

Steve was the final out in this group and he delivered a solid Under Par round to match his previous rounds as he dropped 1 single Bogey but picked up a Birdie and 2 Eagles, one of which was a glorious HOLE-IN-ONE as he finished on 68 and 4 Under Par. Would it be enough?

Group 7

Jorge started out well as he played solid front nine golf and picked up a solitary Birdie. His back nine contained a Bogey and a Double Bogey but also 2 more Birdies and an Eagle to finish as he cards a score of 70 and 2 Under Par for the day

Matthew continues his good vein of form as he grabs a Birdie but drops a Bogey on the front nine. His back nine has a Double Bogey but the rest of the round has 3 Birdies and 2 Eagles to take his score to 67 and 5 Under Par ensuring a good finish for the tournament but would it be enough to put real pressure on the leader ?

Group 8

Vin had to try and make up just a 1 shot deficit and he started well enough with a couple of Birdies on the front nine but then he dropped a Double Bogey on the back nine. It was not until the final 2 holes where he picked up a Birdie and a HOLE-IN-ONE Eagle to finish on 69 and 3 Under Par but would it be enough ? He finished all 4 rounds Under Par

The answer was not quite enough as Dave kept his head and kept the game as steady as he could. He grabbed a Birdie on the front nine with steady play and then sealed his good round on the back nine with 2 Eagles to come home with 67 and 5 Under Par to stretch his lead at the top to seal the win.

The 4th and final round turned out to be a little jostling here and there but mainly one for consolidating for most players. There was a fight for top place but in the end, we extend warm congratulations to Dave Maher as he held his ground and pulled off a 2 stroke lead to win THE U.S.OPEN

My massive thanks to Kyle as he has produced this Golf Help Sheet which works wonderfully well

I would highly recommend you using this excel sheet for a number of reasons and that is it will do all the work for you, it will also put
everything in the EXACT format ( spacings, semi colons etc) therefore making it easier for my copy/paste

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/37361ym7b9wy9ds7lddjj/PGA-Gol...

It is very easy to use - just follow these instructions and it will paste the EXACT FORMAT onto the thread
which will make it so much easier for my "copy and paste" into my spreadsheet

1. Click the "delete previous data" button to delete the last race details
2. Copy the whole of your analysis from the last race - from Lap to the last lap
3. Paste that analysis into the help sheet starting at A1
4. Copy and paste the holes posted for the event - DO NOT EDIT THEM
5. Click the "Sort Lap times and Format button"
6. Type the event name into Cell O2 and round nimber in O3
7. You will then have to MANUALLY enter the Dry and Wet fastest laps (leave wet laps if there was no rain)
8. Copy and paste that information into the forum (Cells O2 - O27)

Once you have downloaded it initially - just save it for future use - it does all the work for you
so you can then concentrate on "Race Analysis" at your leisure
