A flurry of confirmed drivers starts to mold the upcoming season!
There has been more confirmations since last night, with 13 returning drivers confirming their spots on the Power F1 grid. The biggest acquisition was the current champion, Nate Lung, back at McLaren for another season. His partnership with Jonathan Beagles had always provided the team with a Top 2 finish, and so they would love to keep that streak going, as well as his individual accolades too.
The duo of Keith Partridge and Quentin Rieg have continued their partnership with AlphaTauri by signing their one-year extension to race in the 2025 season. Both had serious potential to challenge for the title, so this will most definitely be interesting to see if they can go one step further and win a championship. Another team that has had both of their spots filled is Alfa Romeo, with the same line-up of the young stars Geir Pukk and Jason Mathias. They have produced some serious pace during a couple of races, and had some consistencies during the latter half of the season. They will be wanting to shock the world with their new car for 2025.
Alpine and BMW have both secured their second driver's spot with their driver from the 2024 season. Alpine's loss of Theodore would have hurt Vladimir's decision to re-join the outfit, but as he was offered the first driver's spot, he took it upon himself to honour that spot and to take Alpine to their first championship, or to even win an individual title himself! Another man that wants to win a title was BMW's driver Davi Queiroz. The Brazilian youngster had an awful 2024 season due to the car's lack of everything, but is determined and is happy with the 2025 development of the BMW car which has convinced him to stay for one extra year. The only driver to have raced in two different teams, he would want to ensure to everyone that the decision he made was a great one.
Two more teams after those signings also had their driver lineup filled, with Red Bull and Aston getting their 2024 lineup for another season. Red Bull's lineup of Javier Saez and Archit Modi shocked everybody by taking their stricken Red Bull car and sticking the team in the top half of the standings, scoring wins and podiums in the process. This has delighted the Austrian outfit, and had expressed their desire to stick with the same team for the 2025 season. The two drivers would also want to go a step further from their successful 2024 season by challenging for the titles in the upcoming season. Aston's lineup of Chew Kai Wen and Sagar Abhyankar shocked everybody for all of the wrong reasons though, finishing bottom on a car that was definitely not ready for Power F1 racing at all. The team focused too much on the 2023 car, which had brought Kai his first driver's championship, and that has shattered their chances to repeat that feat. They would hope now that their reduced engine durability would be the way for them to win another championship, potentially winning the constructors too!
The last two drivers to have confirmed up until this point have been with Audi and Williams. Audi had confirmed their confidence with Kyle Morris after a horror season for the British driver, finishing near the bottom with his car that was plagued with car problems. He hopes that he could follow the footsteps of his previous teammate, Ilia Lilov, to challenge for a title. The other driver confirmed was Williams' Dion Staal. The Dutch veteran has stayed loyal with the Williams team not really improving at all throughout the seasons. He would hope that this season would be different and would want to at least participate in the challenging on both titles.
No Haas, Mercedes or Ferrari drivers have accepted their contract renewals yet, so we still have a long ways to go before the start of the new season! Remember, if you are a new driver that wants to participate in the 2025 season, feel free to express your interest and any spaces that are available can be offered to you when the time is right!

2025 Power F1 Driver line-up almost complete!
The lineup for the 2025 Power F1 season is almost complete with another 6 drivers confirming their participation on the grid.
The huge news coming out this week was the re-signing of both Shannon Fuerte and Vin Struder of Haas after their devastating performance on the track last season. They both conquered the constructor's championship with a car that shouldn't be that high up. This obviously gives hope to the other teams who wants to replicate that wonderful championship run that Haas had last season. They were the only drivers who were offered two-year contracts by their team, and well deserved!
The other team who had confirmed their full line-up in one announcement was Mercedes, with Steven Rose and Lucas Holmes partnering up once again for the 2025 season, hopefully regaining the Mercedes name at the top of the standings. They looked very promising last season with a few podium finishes last season, capped off with a couple of wins by Holmes. Will they be able to do what Haas did last season, or will they flop once again?
Audi were estactic to see that their star driver, Ilia Lilov, wanted to re-sign another season with the German team. His amazing achievements last season were definitely something to behold, and can only wonder how much more he could with a better car. For now, Audi had some nice sweet upgrades, so let's see how he will perform in the Audi car this season!
The final driver that was confirmed was Andres Felipe Sanchez of the Williams team, desperate to find some momentum and to do well in the Power F1 season. The Colombian veteran would want to do well, and maybe get some attention from a higher team that may want his services come the 2026 season!
The new thread will be out tomorrow evening during the GPRO race, so look out for that! There are only a couple of people that has not confirmed their participation yet @Darryl Kucmerowski (P11) & @Nicholas Bryant (P25) , and will have a gentle reminder tonight before their offers will be rescinded tomorrow when they are still yet to confirm.

We currently have players associated with Ferrari. If they do not confirm by tomorrow, you may take a spot on that team :)
