Olympics Team Sports Challenge

This challenge consists of several of the team sports taking place at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics -- can you optimize your lineup to score the most points?

This challenge is part of the Ultimate Olympic Fan Challenge, but can be played as a standalone -- I'd encourage you to check out the other Olympics challenges as well!

Entry Rules
- The total value of your combined picks can not exceed 28.
- You will be picking one country for each of the 7 sports below.
- You may pick the same country in more than 1 sport.

Scoring
You will score 2 points (3 points in football/rugby/5x5 basketball due to shorter group phase) from each win and 1 point (1.5 points in football/rugby/5x5 basketball) from each draw in the group phase. In addition, you will get 8 points for a gold medal, 5 points for silver, 3 points for bronze and 1 point for 4th place.

If a team withdraws due to COVID - there will be no replacements post-deadline.

Ties will use the included tiebreaker, unless it's an exact copy of a previous entry, in which case the earlier entry will win.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Entry Template

Basketball (Men's):
3x3 Basketball (Women's):
Field Hockey (Men's):
Handball (Women's):
Rugby Sevens (Men's):
Football (Women's):
Volleyball (Women's):

Tiebreaker: How many total combined points will be scored in the finals of these 7 events? (closest wins)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can post your entries in this topic or PM them to me: /NewMail.asp?IDM=25844&txtSubject=Olympic%20Team%20Challenge

(3 in football and rugby due to shorter group phase)

Did you notice that basketball is also in groups of 4 now?

EDIT: And 3x3 is in one group of 8.

EDIT2: Also, handball says men, but the set of countries look women.

Thanks for the suggestions/updates, Jukka.

I've moved 5x5 basketball up to 3 pts for a win with the shorter group stage. I've also corrected the typo you noticed (and one I noticed where the order of the sports in the entry template was different from the order in the team lists.)
