With George's Elite championship victory, this places the Malati family equal with Nuvolari in terms of unique Elite champions (after Jasper and Joachim).

Congratz George, it was a bit expected after you've already won the Elite cup two times aswell. The 3 retirements really cleared the way for you to win this season. Well done.

I wonder how many retirements it would take for you or I to be elite champions? My guess is alot 🤣🤣🤣

Anyways back in topic congratulations George, the first of many I'm sure.

According to my calculations i would require 6012 retirements to be champion :)

A big thank you to everyone who has posted here, I’ve really enjoyed reading all of your positive comments.

The road to this championship has been a long one for me but it has only made this result more rewarding. Getting to elite in S72, I spent a couple seasons trying to chase wins on hancocks before deciding to try for the championship in S77. That season I would end up backing out half way through knowing that Yug was simply too strong for me. Following that I considered preparing for another push in S79 but decided to take michis with Jasper instead, thinking Dede would be unbeatable.

By the time I got my current driver at the end of S79 I was having to rely solely on sponsors that I had negotiated in elite, and as such was not sure if I would ever be able to make a championship attempt with him. With some luck involved I realized I was able to manage my account in such a way that I could make a viable attempt this season, so I decided to go for it. Yet how it has turned out for me has far exceeded anything I could have expected.

I would like to mention Ania, who has forced me to play my best all season. Knowing that she would likely choose them was my reasoning for picking bridgerocks, and I am glad that I did. Most of the time in the dry we had very similar pace, FTs aside. Her second in the championship (which is all but mathematically guaranteed at this point) is the best result for anyone outside Jaguar, Nuvolari, or Malati since Toni Söyrinki did the same in S73, and I am sure that she is capable of doing one place better in the future.

As for next season, hopefully I can block some championship contenders while I take it easy on hancocks :P

Congratz George!

Remember when we met in Pro group if not mistaken. You was just promoted fresh manager, while I was on my promo season.
At that point I saw that this could be good future Elite manager and I wasn't wrong. Even more - you made it and won title!

Congratz once again!

Congrats George, very strong performance along the season, no matter what the PHA was. Well deserved championship, no doubt about that.

I thought I would beat you in Monza and win the cup semifinal, but your performance for such a cold race was incredible. Congrats!

When I saw the weather and especially once I saw your qualifying times I was quite scared you were going to beat me in the cup. I was only saved by it being an FT.

I must say it would have been fun watching two Jag hancocks in the final.

Huge Congrats George!

We started playing GPRO on the same day, we have been teammates even before Malati, and it has been clear to me from the beginning that you were a GPRO champion in the making.

Now I can proudly say that, between us, we have won every tier, including the Elite championship :p

@Vladimir Alexandrov (R3) I have an honest question for you, i tried to look for this in the rules and the wiki but found nothing. I see Vladimir Valis is rookie reseting at the end of the season, he's also the only one who could mathematically challenge for George in terms of points this season in Elite.

In the hypothetical event of Vlad finishing above George in the standings, would he still be considered Elite champion? Or is George already champion on this moment?
