Good one, Javier.

Yes, there are not a lot.

"I can't figure it out, so the game is crap...whaaa, whaaa, whaaa".
There, I fixed it for you.

You certainly do not need to be a supporter to win here, The only reason I am one is because I want to support a game that doesn't require me to pay to win. And the cost is very low comparing to most of the games out there. It is certainly a fair play here and your claim that you have to be a supporter to do well is completely false. You get a few bells and whistles for your few bob, nothing to give you any advantage.

this game is horrible i been playing for years been out of rookie couple times.seems you gotta be a paying player to even advance.it sucks thats my rant and im very doubtful i'll play much longer.

I am not sure that even if a pay to win structure did exist you would manage to promote.

After 800 grand prix, I don't think Floyd really wants to quit and I don't think we should really want to lose him.

Floyd - as others have suggested, seek out a mentor that can give you pointers on ways to improve your account management. Also think about what aspects the game are really troubling you so people can give specific answers. For example, I notice way back in 2012 you had a question about your technical failures and received some helpful answers. You have won races before, so you obviously have some idea - I expect it has a lot to do with how to manage your finances better.

Edit: Oh yeah, the pay-for-win thing, that is of course claptrap and has been rightfully shut down by others.

On a surprising note, I found this post to be very motivating. I felt like I can now stay in Amateur series for long time and be content with it. I was very demotivated this season as I got promoted to Pro, but the season turned out to be very brutal and i just thought of quitting few days back, but as few people said here, you need planning for 4-5 seasons ahead, I'm motivated to plan and work upwards again.

It's not necessary to plan 4-5 seasons ahead. That, is a long time to work at a plan, especially if you are new to the game or just promoted from rookie.

Really need probably one season planned and one season on the radar. Prepare for next and have an idea of where you want to be in 2 seasons.

Meanwhile you can have fun racing and gathering data to improve your play, instead of making Gpro a 'job', It's about having fun.

Experience will show you that, you do need to 'plan ahead', maybe even 4-5 seasons to truly make progress. I'm not so good at making progress hehehe . This game must hate me personally! lol

Love this game!

Aren't they supposed to be some of the kindest people in the world and 2 rants from them in one season?

This.

In Rookie and Ama, you don't even need to fully plan your current season. Just make sure you keep your spending balanced with your income, and keep an eye on the next few races when testing and upgrading.

The only thing you really need to plan longer than that is your driver. Should you train them? Can you keep them another season? Do you want to keep them another season? Can you avoid the crowded market at the season start? Do you even want to?
