I generally use the old race view when I follow a race.
I do thoroughly appreciate the new race view - when I'm in a close situation it's a lot more fun than the old view thing of waiting for a refresh.
But I usually track my races in the old race view, because I don't really follow every lap, just check in from time to time.

Anyway, what I'd really like is a direct link from the old race view to the new race view so that I can just click straight to the animated version when things start looking interesting.

This particular change has been suggested before by many and it's something I would love to see implemented too.

What I wanted is a "right click open in a new tab option" just like we have for go back to home page, for clarification.

And now I read it more carefully,,, I assumed wrong.. :D

It would be better if the button sent you to the same lap you were at on the old race screen, although it isn't too much problem to quickly catch up to where you were.
