I think this effort is futile. Better resources will be directed to other developments.

I agree with Liviu. In my opinion if an improvement is required with regard to pitstops, it is to avoid the fact that cars are overlapping in the pitlane.

Guys, it's hard to make GPRO a realistic simulator unless you're financially involved. Appreciate the efforts of the GPRO team. They've done a lot so far. There is always room for improvement. But let's look at what will make GPRO more attractive.
I personally prefer to find a way to make the game more attractive.

Suggestion where the person suggesting it hasn't put in any effort are generally not well received. You're not even giving any info about what that animation should look like, ffs.

Also, screaming in all caps isn't making it any better.

Probably the words "FUEL FUEL FUEL FUEL" blinking and moving in marquee.

You are right, GPRO is life. Not a mere video game.

Also regarding the suggestion we have more important things to take care on the racing screen like cars hitting the brakes in the middle of the straights :P

Also if you stick around long enough you will see that you really dont want that animation to be playing for too long :D

When a pit stop can be anywhere from 10s to 35s it'd actually be difficult to animate I reckon. You have the red bull pit stops I Elite and the OAP pit stops where everything is in literal slow motion

just my take, but more attention needing towards attracting players than some pit graphic. i've been here for a number of years and have watched a peak of 13.5k race participants (season 41) decline to just 6.2k at the start of this season. a decline of 54+%.

to me that is much more concerning. on another note, many forget what the classic race screen looks like. for many seasons that was all we had. the change to the new race screen was a HUGE step (and should have attracted more managers).

last thought, the more graphics added, the more stress on servers that are sometimes taxed as it is. i wonder how many that want added things are also GPRO Supporters - OR are they playing for free and looking at ads on their page all the time. nothing is free. everything has a cost and sometimes that cost is loss of participants. :-/

Or have them run around like headless chickens and bump into each other. It makes a 35s pitstop funny.

As for the animation, I made one once for this game or another, but it was a animated gif loop resulting in changing tyres 3 times during a 35 sec pitstop... pointless....

Technically you don't have to loop it so a 30 sec stop can be 13 seconds of changing tires and 17 seconds of nothing happening... though that might cause more rage than the current system :D

One way would be to have just 1 animation, but it either slows down or gets faster based on the pit stop time. So pit stops in Elite would have superhuman speeds and pit stops in Rookie would be in slow motion. :D

Most of that time is spent refueling anyway, so there's that...

Oh and please add this as a sound for every pitstop. https://youtu.be/VWWlRWeWXgU?t=120 ;)

I haven't asked Vladmin if I'm allowed to share it with you, but I'm sure he won't mind: DE used = DE before the race - DE after the race.
