Well, most of the game was advantage for Duda with black pieces. But, finding himself equal and having to settle for a draw, he wanted to win at all costs and that made him lose.

That was what wanted me to pick Mamedyarov lol. Duda's current record wasn't kind to him so he had to play for the win.

THE RULES:
Keith kindly allowed me to copy the rules of Month of Football. If you are familiar with the technical details of his game, you will find this one similar.

Ania, would be fantastic if (like in Month of Football), you can do this every month. Now, we have January with current game. But I'm sure in chess (like in football), every month there is an interesting tournament to follow and predict results. :)

After a few years I would get to know the players. That's how I could get the right results.

:) I admit that I knew all the players in the Master group beforehand. But those of Challenger only a few. This game makes me catch up again with the young promises that are always coming out.

I can try hosting next events too, if people are interested. Monthly basis probably won't work so well as it does for football, but roughly one event per month is quite possible. For starters, we will have 3 FIDE Grand Prix events on 3-17 Feb, 28 Feb - 14 Mar, 21 Mar - 14 Apr. We can also try some faster time controls as Ilia suggested earlier. There will also be some open swiss tournaments, but for these we would have very short notice on who plays who.
