ELITE BLACK SHEEP (Elite BS) - SEASON 20
After last season's return ELITE BLACK SHEEP (Elite BS) is back for the new season - SEASON 20 (S86).
ELITE BLACK SHEEP is a very simple game that involves a little bit of skill (maybe!) and a little bit of luck...
Elite Black Sheep is a prediction style game with a twist.
The GOAL in this game is to pick Elite managers who will finish high in races BUT are also picked less times for that race than other managers.
Sometimes the manager who finishes 12th to 15th (but chosen just once) will give you more points than the Elite manager who finishes 1st.

to sign up simply post ##join and send your picks by PM to me before the deadline - Friday February 11th @ 18:30 CET for FULL RACE 1 POINTS or Friday February 11th between 18:30 - 20:00 CET for 50% Race 1 Points. If you wait for the second deadline you have the advantage of seeing the tyres selected by the Elite competitors which is why there is the penalty
**NOTE** Joining is still possible after Race 1. You will choose your 4 Elite Managers before Race 2 and you will begin Race 3 with 1 SWAP Available.
Once we get started you MUST make at least 1 SWAP every 4 races. Deadline for making SWAPS each Race (after Race #1) is 20:00 CET on Race days.
I will use tags for reminders on each Race day, usually around 16:00 CET. If you prefer to NOT receive a reminder tag, please let me know.
RULES & SCORING METHOD
- You must select 4 Elite Managers by PM prior to Race 1.
- Each race, you may choose to SWAP an Elite manager thereby changing your roster of 4 Elite managers
- At a minimum, you must make a SWAP every 4 races to avoid penalties (see SWAPs below)
Scoring formula = (41-race position) / (1.75+number of times chosen) + (GPRO points * 0.15)
Hint: As can be seen by the scoring method, picks that score GPRO points (top 8) have an additional bonus.....however, if chosen by a large majority of the entrants, their value will still decrease. A manager finishing 10th-15th, but only chosen once MAY potentially score more than a manager finishing on the podium.
SWAPS
CHANGED FOR THIS SEASON PLEASE NOTE CAREFULLY
Everyone starts with 2 swaps, the maximum number of swaps you can hold.
After every race, you may SWAP one (1) of your 4 picks but it is NOT necessary to do so EACH race.
After each race you will be credited with a swap to a maximum of 2
So if you make 2 swaps in a race you will only be able to make 1 swap in the following race....
You are required to make a SWAP at least once every 4 races. If you fail to make 1 SWAP every 4 races your point total will be penalised by 10%. 8 races without a SWAP will see you suffer a 20% penalty
Deadline for swaps is 20:00.00 CET on race day. No swaps accepted after that time!! HOWEVER, RACE 1 PICKS ARE DUE BY 18:30 CET for full Race 1 Points!
There must be a minimum of 10 players for Elite BS to run this season.

Quick Reminder that you have until 18.30.00 to send your picks to me to score full points in Race 1.
If you wait till qualifying closes and you can see what tyre manufacturers have been selected the points FOR RACE 1 will be halved

Small glitch with the spreadsheet - it did not want to show Peter's score.....
Have fixed it but will double check in the morning when I am more awake.....

Everyone has 2 swaps atm...
Simple rules... if you use 2 this race you will only have 1 to use at Race 3, if you use 0 or 1 you will have 2 swaps to use in Race 3
