I agree. Regardless of who did what, it's shocking to see that physical, weaponized confrontations are still a thing in what we like to call "civilized" society.

Yes, actually we don't want to argue about politics here. However, I am also sure that we cannot sweep this war under the rug. And yes, I am also aware that there are more wars in the world, which we do not discuss either. But the current scope is quite large.

But I am also sure that once again this is purely a problem at the political level. However, I'm sure I can say that "normal" citizens would prefer peace. And that's how I rate our players from both countries here. And I hope that it will continue to condemn the corresponding policy, but not let it affect personal relationships with each other. Peace begins in the mind, let's keep thinking peacefully!

Well being in the embassy and very close to Ukraine, all I can say is that UN and NATO is a failure. They knew it was coming and yet they thought that some sanctions will be enough. Such a shame.

I don´t think that UN and NATO is a failure, of course they knew that the attack was a possible thing but they never wanted to give Putin a excuse to start it, some sanctions were not a enough intimidation but they were not a provocation too.

Know that the war is a reality the some sanctions you talk about will be transform in other actions and the levels of sanctions will increase.

This is a chess game for politics and a hell to people.

Tbf Ukraine isn't a member of NATO... Not that it makes things much better.

Sanctions are a weak way to pretend like you're doing something, plus, they hurt the countries imposing said sanctions as well.

This post is about war and peace, about life and death, about good and evil. I don't see anything political in what's going on. Politician failed. Opportunistic, unscrupulous, narrow-minded people remained on the scene.
We are at the fingertips of the insane. We can only hope that good people will take action and know how to win.

US secret meeting of Giuliani during Trump era started everything, and stating that Ukraine will be part of NATO is enough of an excuse and Russia will not allow Nato to come any closer than it is.

On long-term sanctions will help but in the close term, nothing will help Ukraine. It is a failure from the West, they bluffed with Russia and now they're caught on suprise.

Ofc it isn't, that is what I'm saying.

Zelensky said that NATO membership will help Ukraine's security and defense. That is when Russia was triggered.

I just hope it ends soon. For people of both sides it must end, but especially for human lives in Ukraine.

I hope that our Russian and Ukrainian players can show a good example and be friends who play a game together, the only rivalry being in race results. Where we are born does not change our capacity to be good to each other, we have our own morals our own beliefs our own interests, and we share them with many people outside of our own country, even if our country's leaders cannot get along.

I am genuinely concerned by Putins rhetoric, he sounded completely unhinged on Monday. Lives are lost when politics becomes personal grievances, which leads to war, as we all know from WW1 and WW2.

I heard about this on the news, and I think Putin is to blame. He attacks Zelensky for no reason, and then puts out missiles, when Ukraine did nothing to them? It’s really messed up.
