By the way, @Brad Marshall (E) since I still haven't received the cup you promised to ship, I suggest shipping it directly to Bert now :)

Mr. Adami has the cup. :p

Thanks everybody.

As most know, this wasn't my first attempt and not even my second. But finally I was able to get the cup next to my name. Every attempt I gained experience on how to handle a champ push so I came prepared this season. But when I saw there wasn't actually anyone besides me going for it, I was relieved. But I kept my focus as many things could happen. Even 2 randoms I got this season could not stop me from finally getting the title.

I want to thank my teammates at Jaguar as they are an incredible team and very helpfull. Even my own knowledge seemed little in this great team. Not only helpfull and very smart, but you are all great as people how you embraced me in the team.

I also want to thank my previous teammates at the Nuvolari Family. You are all a crazy bunch with great atmosphere and a lot (a bit too much for me :) ) enthousiasm. I still have many friends among you all and I'm glad we could stay friends.

But I will not forgot how I started this game with trying around in excell and stumble upon the Pirates Family where I was accepted. Only 1 team (Tortuga Pirates) remains from then, but even up untill this day I use things I learned from them. I still use their tool, but updated and expanded ofcourse.

For everbody who hopes on getting that title one day, I would say, don't give up. But learn from things that went wrong, from teammates, from opponents,... You can learn something from many things in this game. So search for patterns, discuss with other people,... but most important, don't give up.

This applies for GPRO but also in life, some things go well, other things go wrong. But don't give up.

Congratulations Bert! I can't hide it I don't like these one-sided championships, but I got to see up close when you first laid down your intentions with that surprise S76 push and (to my eye) solidy out-performed your package in one of the most competitive Elite championships. Then I saw first hand the superb package you put together for S86, again ran into strong opposition, (to my eye) some terrible luck and came really close, and then how quickly you returned with a new push, scaring off some opposition. So no one can see this as anything other than a thoroughly deserved triumph of managerial skill and perseverance. Under slightly different circumstances I think we could easily be here congratulating you on a 3rd trophy.

Really proud to call you a teammate. Since you arrived in Jaguar you've pursued novel lines of research, challenged orthodoxy, steadily improved your game, helped me improve mine, always been an interesting guy to chat to, and moaned less than any other Belgian manager in the team, so really happy you'll finally have the little gold icon you deserve. Looking forward to seeing the challenges you pursue next!

Congratz @Bert Huylebroeck (E). I knew it was only a matter of time until you got the job done. The opponents clearly realized you had them beat and stepped down but that doesnt take any credit from your achievment. Well done mate.

Sorry to be late, but congratulations Bert! Even to an outsider it was obvious at least since S86 that you were a champion in the making, which means that this trophy is so so well deserved. You can be very proud.

Hope to have a Battle of the Belgians one day. :)
