General question:
Context:
After each race, we all have conclusions by consulting the "Race Analysis" page, we have data on our performance.
Many of us take the time to watch the entire race live or on replay so we can see who blocked us etc.
My question is: What data, of those that do not appear on our analysis page, do you get when watching the live simulation or the replay?

Race analysis focuses on your car only. The replay allows you to follow the races of others more closely. See when they lose pace, when they boost, replaying that rival engine blowout over and over again. Just to name a few ;)

The only things I could think of think of that shows in the race replay but not in the race analysis are gaps between drivers and also your tyre wear/fuel tank percentages every lap (you can deduce that information in the Race Analysis page though)

Edit: and what Miel said, actually :P

You have just an idea.
They drop by 3% gap, or 0 or 6, 9 etc...
And on first lap, you get 4% for tyres min...

This is more an comestic représentation than the truth of data analysis

Yeah, it's more accurate in Race Analysis perhaps but...

... you can sort of see it in the replay anyways! :P

I think others said the important bits. For me personally I find it difficult to build a comprehensive "picture" in my mind of what happened during a race without the live race / replay. Especially when still new and gathering a lot of data.

E.g. how did my pit strategy compare to others, especially those that did well?
When did other drivers boost?
Was I on the correct tires?
Getting some insight on other manager's driver specific skills by seeing when tires go bad.
And much more.

For me (since I'm still very new) there is just too much information revealed in the live race or replays to skip it. The race analysis info alone just isn't enough.

Yes, you can have somes infos but don't forget this is not also a good représentation (old race viewer is better)

You can see drivers who makes errors, be blocked 20s in a corner and makes à speed run to finish lap before some of guys who have overtaking him 🤣

It actually happened! (To my teammate)

He had a DM in the same lap that the weather changed which led to a miscalculation by the race engine, leading it to assume all the time lost in that lap was due to the DM and not also due to the weather change!

The scariest thing about this is, apparently the game engine is capable of handling a 20 second DM... :O

And take this 20s to make a 15s Boost lap (by consider à 5s mistake lap)

Remember, race engine is not the same thing as the race viewer.

In general, I see two things in race viewer that are not in analysis. Firstly, you see if your strategy worked or not. However, that's hard to put in analysis. Secondly, you can see if you are blocked or in slipstream distance and so on. If you want to analyse lap times or mistake likelihood or something, that is needed.

@Patrick Gonzales (P18) it sounds like you do not watch the live / replay race.

That is the best thing for me in this game. Because the game is on the early hours of the morning here in Australia, I cannot watch the live race. But the replay is so good. I can fast forward those boring bits, but it is good watching my driver passing these slower guys :D

you had an error on lap 30 after your 26.726s of pits, 7 laps with worn tires, you went to 3 pits, the farthest back you were is 22nd place, you blocked 6 times and got blocked 1 time.....

jejeje
