Quote ( Giacomo Mele @ July 12th 2023,08:58:57 )

Noticed, but according race analysis I have 66 laps with time.
How can I have time for laps 63-66 if I retired on laps 62?

If you DNF, then your "lap times" for the remaining laps will be double your race leader's lap time or something like that. The amount of laps you "completed" in the race summary is determined by your gap to the leader. Your gap was more than 10 laps, thus you were too far away. The same would have happened if you completed all laps but were so far behind that when the leader finished, you had only completed 62. Since in a normal race, the lapped cars would not have been allowed to finish their remaining laps, the race summary counts it as you "not reaching" 90%. It is extremely frustrating when it happens, I agree with you, but it is not a bug.

I think he meant general achievements, copy/paste from his profile

General Qualifying record breaker (Set a new qualifying lap record for a track which has held at least 3 GPs) Not yet

General Record breaker (Set a new track record for a track which has held at least 3 GPs) Not yet

He hasn't beaten any of those records, though

Question, was recently promoted from Rookie, was negotiating with a sponsor and had already picked a location on the car, after promotion new sponsor popped up and took that spot. Am I just screwed after all of that time negotiating? If I am it is what it is just kind of stinks after all of that wasted time.

The sponsor will get to 100%, then give you a length of time for when you can accept the contract. Once the sponsor originally on the car goes, you can simply accept the new sponsor

The sponsor will wait at 100% for a certain amount of races for the spot to free up once you complete negotiations. It's usually more than enough time for the current sponsor's contract to end. The only thing you need to be worried about is if somebody else is negotiating with that sponsor, as if they reach 100% and do have a spot free for that sponsor, they'll win it.

Promotion sponsors aren't automatically applied to the car? With experience you'll be able to predict what spot you'll receive them for and plan negotiations around that knowledge.

Another tips, when you see a notification about sponsor, don't clic on it, it will be accepted if free spot if you do it.

By non clicking, you can put it in your wait list :)

I think it's a FOBY process but this is also a non regular way for sponsor assignation.

Notifications haven't to enable sponsor...

In the last race (R8, S94, group R2) my car pited on lap 2 with no explanation (no punture, no malfuntion reported, no crash, etc.) althoug It had 100% tyres (obviously) and about 62L on tank. I was on a 2 stops, so I had softs. I started on P5 and ended P15...
Is this a bug? What went wrong?
Thanks

From race commentary:

Brad Lawler closes the door on Jota Esse who is unable to stop on time and the crash is unavoidable, luckily both will manage to bring their cars to the pits

App is adding race commentaries in next update, it's currently in Beta.

Web version already has it implemented, you should see those with no problem, I'm unsure why you cannot see it, perhaps a screenie might help?

Contradiction mobile app vs website: in race strategy when you select "Don't refuel when pitting for a technical problem" on the website, in the app you will be set to "refuel" and vice versa.

I trust that the website version is correct because it always has been, but in that case people using the mobile app are getting the opposite setting than the one they enter.

That's because you must have broken it in this qualifying. That bug has existed since wet records became a thing.

Think I’ve discovered a bug with the iPhone app and text entry.

There seems to be a delay from character entry and what is displayed on the app. I’m on an iPhone XR, and it happens on the forum but it’s especially bad on the private message system.
