Browsing GPRO on mobiles might be a struggle due to the lots of language options on the top of page, you may click in one of them while you're trying to scroll down the page and you find GPRO in a whole mess, with a language you never imagined it would exist.

well, this is the best (and quickest) place I've found to post this

Why do Pipirelli icon disappeared from Q1/Q2 standings in Amateur/Rookie groups? A bug, maybe? We know everybody uses Pipis there, but...

edit: actually, it also disappeared from managers in higher groups (Pro and above) using pipis...

I don't know if this is a bug or not ,my friend Kurt Grech from rookie 67 just upgraded his brakes from lv1 to lv2 and his part wear has gone to 12% instead of 0%. He didn't test or anything.I don't see anything that he has done wrong. A bug or not?
Any admins on who check this please thanks.

He did not upgrade the brakes - he should have a short look at /gb/EconomyHistory.asp , there he can see for what upgraded parts he paid :)

Just a quick question, how come I only used 188Ltrs on the last race on medium tyres?

Started with 60L and the 2 pits with each 70L!!
Risks were 20/10/30/00

I pay for my driver 422k. I was expecting a value around 472k for a contract extension of 17 races (as it was informing before season 25 to 26 maintenance). Now my driver is asking for 805k? Moreover, 805k independently of contract length? Anyone could say if it is correct? Anyway, I've already extended the contract, just don't remember if the value was correct before I clicked in the extension button.

Offer contract extension
Contract length Extension fee New salary

You have already extended the contract for 17 races. The new salary will be $805.875.

Thank you Marcelo.

I agree that drivers with higher reputation should ask for more. But I also think that the correction factor is not fair for a Rookie-to-Amateur level. As if all my victories in Rookie were only due to my driver's performance. Maybe I should drive the car and let my driver be the manager. I would certainly be better rewarded by my contribution, and not pay for being efficient in my strategies.

But, I respect the rules and it's clear to me now. As clear as the reason why some good managers decided to retire the game.

You have to be kidding. Your driver has very high reputation and the salary is still ridiculously low. I remember times, when 2.5M$ salary was norm in Rookie.

It is low because I picked a cheap driver and trained him. I certainly wouldn't pay more than 600k in rookie for a driver. But I respect who pays 2.5M, but I think the same result can be achieved with a less expensive driver.

Interesting. I thought that the analyses and team's discussions which lead to 7 managers winning the season (1 Amateur), one second place (impossible to win, since he was in the same group as other teammate), and other fourth place had some to do with it.

Quote ( Jan Zaluski @ June 21st 2011,15:30:28 )

Not at all. Reputation is only one example of a rule that leads to some comic situations, as for example, a rookie driver gaining more reputation in two seasons than an elite driver with 15 podiums (and 3 wins) in the same period.

I just posted to check if it was not a bug and to express my opinion that a 90% of salary increase was too high. Marcelo kindly clarified my question. And you sadly classified my opinion as "you have to be kidding", clearly supposing that you own the truth.
