Hello guys, I hope I can find some help here. I searched the forum, maybe not well enough, but here is my question: Is there a minimum tire wear for a tire change like 75% or 80% ?
They don't change at any wear, right?
Thank you guys and have fun.
Kind regards, Marcel

You enter the pits at a change of weather (depending on strategy), if you run out of fuel, or if your tyres can't do another lap...

It depends who will first run out , fuel or tyres . If you put minimum fuel 10L, then tyre change can be even at 95%

That means they change tire at any condition if fuel is empty?

Yes, every time you enter the pits, you get new tyres.

Just one piece of information that you mind find useful to know, when you see spinning tyres, this is called a "wobble" in game terminology...you'll see this phrase used around the forum and "wobble" or spinning tyres is when the performance of the tyre will begin to affect the lap time with each lap passing. Wobble begins when your tyres have 19% or less of their life left. So, ideally of course you don't want to spend too many laps "wobbling"... and once you had some good experiences of each tyre grade, you'll begin to see patterns where you can accurately call how far you can go.
This is where having a team comes in handy as you increase the depth of data at your disposal to more than just your own. Getting a mentor and finding a good team should be your next steps. A good team should be one defined as one that communicates on race strategies and shares data between each other. Don't just join any team for the sake of it, be sure it's one who can support you in gaining more knowledge and data.

Thanks. I'm rookie. So far I've only done 6 races. While I'm starting to calculate the fuel better for a certain strategy, I still can't synchronize that with the tire wear. Obviously that causes me to lose performance for a few laps until I finally get to the pits (that's what you call "wobble" right?). I guess there must be several variables to take into account to get an optimal combined fuel and tire strategy.
