Nah, the difference for Eva is just 13 points. DO not forget that Dainese and Ackerman both get +5, and that ANdresen and Groenwegen also get a extra point.

Four riders did get 13 points subtracted from their total today as a penalty : Theuns, Coquard, Van Poppel and Ballerini. Next to that does Van Poppel lose the 10 sprint points from his finish, and will the riders behind him gain more points.
Thus all scores will be calculated again.
But I am on it.. The stage result, general classification and KOM are already edited.

All scores have been adjusted. Thanks again to @Alex Martez (A76) for informing me that Van Poppel was dropped, and that four riders had received a penalty in the points classification.
Of course I was initially disappointed for five minutes. But since I can't calculate any further results without the results of stage 3 being correct, everything has been adjusted immediately.
Nothing else has changed in the stage results and leaders in the various classifications, only some managers will now have slightly more points and some slightly less.
Hopefully we will have a slightly less chaotic stage tomorrow, eeeeeeeeuuh today. ;)

The fourth stage of the Tour went from Amiens to Rouen and had a tough ending. In the last thirty kilometers, four categorized climbs awaited. The finale opened with the Côte de Belbeuf (1.3 km at 9.3%), followed by the Côte de Bonsecours (900 meters at 7.2%) and the Côte de Grand’Mare (1.8 km at 5%). The toughest challenge came six kilometers before the finish: the Rampe Saint-Hillaire (900 meters at 10.6%, up to 13%). After that, it went downhill to Rouen, although there were still some vicious sections of around 5%. Ideal for yellow jersey wearer Mathieu van der Poel ?
In the opening phase we didn't see a big battle to get into the early breakaway. The first attempt by Johan Abrahamsen (Uno-X Mobility) and Lenny Martinez (Bahrain Victorious) was immediately successful. Soon Thomas Gachignard (TotalEnergies) also crossed and then Kasper Asgreen (EF Education-EasyPost) also dared to jump. The Dane had to close a considerable gap, but succeeded. This gave us four leaders.
The control in the peloton came from Van der Poel's Alpecin-Deceuninck. They limited the difference to about two minutes. In the run-up to the Côte Jacques Anquetil (3.5 kilometers at 3.6 percent), the first categorized climb of the day, the lead already decreased somewhat. In this phase we also saw a few crashes. First Sepp Kuss, Matteo Vercher and Yevgeniy Fedorov fell, later Cees Bol and Ilan Van Wilder fell. But they were all able to continue their way.
Asgreen came first on the climb a little later and took the only mountain point. The two points on the Côte de Belbeuf were for Lenny Martinez, who had thrown his fellow escapees overboard at this point. He reached the top with a ten-second lead on the peloton, where polka dot jersey wearer Tim Wellens also took a point. Incidentally, there was no Julian Alaphilippe in that peloton. The Frenchman had had some mechanical problems before the climb, but would return after a long chase.
His compatriot Martinez meanwhile continued on his own, but was no match for the peloton, which was led by UAE Emirates XRG. With 21 kilometres to go, his adventure was over. Just before that, there had been – again – a crash. Quite a few riders were on the ground or had to brake hard, but the favourites for the day and the final victory escaped unscathed. Then it was full throttle to the Côte de Bonsecours (900 meters at 7.2%).
Attacks were absent on this climb. And because UAE Emirates XRG and Alpecin-Deceuninck pushed hard on the Côte de Grand’Mare (1.8 km at 5%), we didn’t see a real breakaway here either. It was simply too hard. Ben O’Connor experienced this first-hand: the Australian, second in the Vuelta last year, succumbed to the pounding of Tim Wellens. The latter’s work was taken over by the troops of Visma | Lease a Bike after the top. Victor Campenaerts stepped on the gas in the service of Jonas Vingegaard.
It went so fast that the group thinned out considerably on the winding roads to the Rampe Saint-Hillaire (900 metres at 10.6%, up to 13%), the ultimate judge. Florian Lipowitz, among others, started the extremely steep climb with a disadvantage. Tiesj Benoot started the climb at the front, but Jhonatan Narváez immediately took over from the Belgian. Then João Almeida rushed forward to increase the pace for Tadej Pogacar. The latter launched his attack three hundred metres from the top.
Mathieu van der Poel was unable to follow the world champion. He had to leave a gap, which was filled by Vingegaard, who jumped onto Pogacar's wheel. Pogacar then kept giving everything and seemed to break Vingegaard for a moment. The Dane from Visma | Lease a Bike had to leave a small gap just before the end of the climb, but managed to close it again just before the top. In this way, the two top favourites for the Tour reached the top together.
Behind Pogacar and Vingegaard, a group formed with Remco Evenepoel, Matteo Jorgenson, Oscar Onley, the aforementioned Almeida and Van der Poel. The six pursuers were a few seconds behind, but were able to return shortly afterwards. Jorgenson then immediately chose to attack, but Pogacar reacted alertly. Almeida then took over. He kept the pace high towards the last kilometres and managed to neutralise an attack by Evenepoel. A second attack, this time by Jorgenson, seemed to have a better chance of success. The American created a nice gap in the last kilometer.
Almeida also called him to order, with Van der Poel on his wheel. The Dutchman then started the sprint with two hundred meters to go. Unlike in the second stage, he could not hold off Pogacar this time. The world champion passed him in the last hundred meters and took the victory. He thus booked his hundredth professional victory. He also ended up in the same time as Van der Poel in the classification, who will however be allowed to ride in yellow in the time trial on Wednesday. The total number of stage results of Van der Poel is smaller than that of Pogacar.
We have often seen this manager finish at the front this season, but for some reason he has not yet managed to win in 2025.
But that former "Omloop het Nieuwsblad" winner, and winner of three Grand Tour stages Philipp Witzmann has not forgotten how to win, was evident today. It looks like Philipp is in top form at exactly the right time, because with his stage victory today he also jumps to 4th place in the general classification.
Your host came second in the daily result, and third place was reserved for Nicholas Bryant. David Panov and Ralf Kutowsky complete the top five in Rouen.
In the general classification, David Panov retains the lead by a large margin in the general classification, where we still find Alex Martez in a beautiful second place. In third place we still find our friendly Polish friend Mateusz Zaborny... Quite inconspicuously and without wasting too much energy he maintains his place at the top of the rankings, which promises a lot for the further course of this very exciting Tour.
As reported, we now find Philipp Witzmann in fourth place, but only three points behind him your host completes the top five in the general classification.
Just outside the top five we find three managers (Nicholas Bryant, Remus Raita, Ralf Kutowsky.) within five points, and all three of these managers could easily dive into the top five tomorrow with a good time trial.
Bert Meeus, Enrique Gonzalez and Florea Badana are meanwhile fighting for the last two top ten places, while just behind them Mark Witney, Sebastiano Schiesaro, Liviu Sandu, Eva Boonen and Tex Palmer have started their catch-up race and want to shine in the time trial tomorrow.

It took a while, but I'm very happy to finally score my first win of the season :)
The crash of Ganna really helped me, getting Onley in the Team for stage 2 proved to be vital.
Also a really interesting stage, the TdF did not disappoint so far.

In today's time trial, we saw small differences, with seven managers scoring between three and four hundred points. Ralf Kutowsky reached 317 points, while Tex Palmer managed to score five points better (322 points).
With ten points more (327 points), we find a group of four managers, including general classification leader David Panov, who once again did well today in retaining his yellow jersey. Third-placed riders Mateusz Zaborny, Enrique Gonzalez, and Hans Biesheuvel also managed to equal David Panov's lead.
However, one manager was slightly stronger than the rest. This manager is clearly in the form of his life, as it's the second stage in a row he's won. Yes, you read that right, Philipp Witzmann was once again the strongest today, and it's clear his attack on the yellow jersey has begun.

In the points classification, Alex Martez naturally retains the green jersey, but the managers just behind him still managed to gain some points. If other managers want any chance of winning the green jersey, it's a matter of making up as much ground as possible in the next two stages, after which two more stages normally reserved for the sprinters await.
I know we're only five stages in, but in the battle for the points classification, Alex Martez is definitely in pole position.

Wow, I expected Vingegaard to gain time on Pogacar today.
Judging by the time trial I can see something like last season to happen again.
I think tomorrow may be tomorrow stage (but i hope it won't be :P)

I expected what happened today... In a pure flat time trial Pogacar can just produce more power than Vingegaard, who is a few kilos lighter...
I do have to admit, the difference is about forty seconds greater than I expected. Considering that even Jorgenson was faster than his own captain, we can safely say this wasn't a great time trial from our Danish friend.
Paris is still far away.....

@Hans Biesheuvel (P10) here i am again, but i am convinced you messed up my stage 5 result points badly! I have no idea how you can come up with only 166 points...i think i have nearly double the points of that number?
