Wow, first proper technical problem for me in about 2 seasons, guess I deserved one. Still managed to grab two points though, which narrowly keeps me in a promotion spot.

Congrats to Rafal on his win, and thanks to Syed for not overtaking me in the last four laps.
5 points clear in 3rd, with none of the top three in any financial problems. Could be a very boring promotion fight.

Nice win Reijo, thought I might have a chance to knock you out the cup at 1-1, but it wasn't to be.
I think that race pretty much wraps up the top three places this season.

Oh, ok, I got it. This is after you've changed it. I feel for you, man. Maybe you could ask the admins to reset you? That way you wouldn't scrap your whole season...

Mmm tough luck Derek. I finally did it and set up a spreadsheet for my setups etc. I can see how this game is going to get very time consuming for me. LOL

It took a few races, but I have a general idea of my fuel needs. Now to figure out the tires better and time the pits. I can only imagine what influence a different driver, setup, weather, tires...etc. would have on all these figures. I hope I don't need a math refresher course next.

Sporting the black livery in honor of Robin Williams. If we Americans knighted anyone for general cultural contributions, he would be First. (and it's doubly a bummer because I'd much rather be running my first race with our shiny new team livery!)

Last race last season I needed to do badly to lower the driver's motivation, so I ran wet tires rain or shine; it worked, I finished last of all drivers that actually finished, but I forgot to change the actual tires I was running on for *this* race. Stellar qualification, but the tire oversight blew it entirely. Let's see how I bounce back...

Vital, im no expert but to have a negative balance before first race is not the best plan?

I won that last race of season, and ive been in the lead for a total of 1 lap in my full GPRO career. Pure fluke on last lap!

Im having a season of driver training so i will be running wrong tires later in season to retain my driver too!

Reminder: tie breaking process.

First: points. If you're behind on points, you're behind, and that's that.
Second: if points are tied, it then goes down to who did the best, earliest. If you and I are tied on points, and I have a 2nd place finish, and the best you did was third, until that changes, I'll win that tie-breaker. If we both have a 2nd place finish, then whoever got the 2nd place earliest, wins. Since I actually have a win on the third race, only the ones who won in the 1st or 2nd race would beat me in a tie.

??? A tie has no relevance at this level unless its between 4th & 5th and you want to promote. Not going to happen in this group.
You are in a good place to promote this season so wouldn't worry about tieing. Well done & good luck for rest of season.

S44 now.
@ André Anunciada - I cant work out what your up to???????
Last 2 races you had pit stops every lap? You have enough experience in this game to add more fuel so I really don't get what your trying to achieve!!!!!
puzzled?? anyone fancy shedding some light on this?

Well Andre's tactics of pitting every other lap saw him eventually promoted last season! (if only because nobody else wanted to promote?)

Good look for S45 guys. You never know somebody else might reply on this forum this season :)
