:( I lost track of time today and forgot about GPRO, I did manage Q1 so I will race but never got Q2 or race strategy entered. I expect to come last tonight . lol

Mick,

Those things can happen. At least be happy that it isn't in a promotion season or in a race that you absolutely did want to go for points. Something similar happened to me last season when I did forget to change my tyres form dry to wet in a race where we started in the rain.

More luck next race Mick ! :)

Regarding my own season, so far everything goes as planned. There is no real need for me to "push", so I try to race as much races as possible without %CT and boost.

I must say that I can't complain about the results, although I do have to gamble a bit with my strategy from time to time. The previous race at the Oesterreichring was a nice example of it. (No pitstop)

For the moment I try to save as much as possible on the car parts (most are level 4 at the moment), because I still have to do a few hundred testlaps before the season is over, and the goal is to earn money meanwhile.

I'm looking forward to the second half of the season, in which I will certainly push in a few races if possible.

Good luck all !!

Hi Upeo,
Yeah it was just bad timing that i forgot to qualify properly in the last race, it's a shame as I was going to at some %CT and go for good points. The rest of the season now will just be finishing midt table and building cash.

you are doing well with no CT and I presume this will be your promotion season.

good luck.

Second random of this season already, I'm not the hugest fan of them as you can understand. hehehe

Congrats with the Cup win Christos Gustovio, I will smoke that last race out so I don't expect to finish high in the scores. Goal is to reach the 90% race distance since my gearbox wear is on 98%. So congrats with that Cup and far more important with your promotion to the Pro's !! :)

I wonder who will be the last two managers who will follow us to Pro level. It looks like Clebio Araujo and Michael Beltramelli can't escape promotion anymore since I don't think that Rafal Kowalski wants to promote yet. Not sure of that of course.

Well ....

After seven seasons in AMA-15 the time has finally come to make a next step in my GPRO career. I do think that I'm ready for that next step and will now start to make preparations for a promotion to Master level in season 80 or season 84. (I will lose my current driver after the seventh race in season 81, so I'm not sure yet if I will give it a shot with this driver or a next one.)

I do of course wish all the managers of Amateur-15 all the best in the continuation of their career, and do hope to meet you guys at a higher game level in one of the upcoming seasons. Many felicitations to all other promoting managers also of course. And who knows, maybe we will meet again next season ?

All the best of luck at Pro level Christos, Clebio and Rafal.

Cheers
Upeo

It looks like my group has been axed (A88) so here I am in A15, and it looks like a scary group to try and win the championship. :)

Nevertheless, good luck everyone. I'll try to win some races in this season.

Currently @Norbert Páldeák (A15) & I are the two fastest amateurs in the game again, in both wet & dry conditions. This is going to be a fun battle, just like Red Bull vs Mecedes this year. Good luck!

Your pace is very unpredictable @Norbert Páldeák (A15) and I think we will have some more nice battles on the track. I knew I was lucky in race 1. 😃

That was some battle. This is a very fast group, all within top 50 of all amateur times throughout the race if you even want a podium you have to be one of the fastest amateurs in the game. Yikes. :)

Don't think so @Zoltán Szányi (A15)

Norbert, Gabriela & Leanne are all within striking distance. In R1 & R3 I only barely squeeked the win.

And this race is one that I think punishes people using risks, as each strategy is close call for tyres. 😄

Congrats Leanne, as is the case in motor sports, you take what lady luck gives you, and the lady has taken it :-)

But I'm pretty gutted - this was within 10 laps of being my first grand chelem in amateur. :( but it's motor sport, my driver is definitely not Lewis Hamilton, he stopped with the puncture, lol

I lost a few sponsor negotiations, I'm going all in on this one, and pushing for wins. Recommend you guys drop out of it, I'll win most races this season :)

This is becoming a really nice championship battle between Leanne, Norbert & me. I got my achievements (fastest qualifier & lap time of all amateurs) so now it's time to race normally again. ;)
