Hi all,
Only joined a few days ago and so big hi to you all. Had to quickly set up my car for the first race and i must say 6th place and 3pts from 15th on the grid (phew) Not bad i think as i didnt read half the newbie bits. I've really got to sit down and go through them better :-) Just a quick comment on the replay it would be nice if you pressed > and it just continued to scroll auto through the laps sort of animated.
I'm really thinking about a team soon so will start looking. Ok so cheers for now andmay see some of you at the stone this year i'll be on stowe corner.

Err...dude. I belive those people from R65-83 all score points in their first race! XD

Some may have even won in their first race here, which just p*** me off. :(

Just asking, but do we need a topic about this? You can celebrate your points/podium/win finish in your group forum. Just wanted to let you know that.

Yeah, shouldn't people be moved around from over crowded groups to the other ones. In R83 ppl didnt even complete the race and got points. Would it be fair to the other managers if such managers got promoited to Amateur ?

EDIT: 8 pit stops and a race win ? Thats just plain wrong!

I agree with you Nikhil. I mean, there's some people, just making their first start, with not much knowledge of the game getting wins and promotion, while there are others who have been here for more than 2 seasons, and they have not even got a podium finish. I've always agreed with the idea of a "manager switch-around" thing.

Ok, if i did say something wrong, i'll apologise for that. But can u blame me for not thinking right when i was typing it? I mean, i expected to score a point, and got 10th through no fault of my own, and because of yet another random. I mean, i'm just fed up with all thing bad luck going on for me. :(

It will soon balance out as the groups fill up. We're going to have to get used to the idea with the new tier of groups that Rookie is soon to be little more than a weeding ground for stripping out people who lose interest in the game etc (this is how I see Rookie becoming btw and not casting aspersions on [the majority] of current or previous Rookie drivers ;0)

Yes, things that have nothing to do with you really!

I could have promoted last season, but choose not to.

And how many times must i say, i'm having a headache, so do expect me to make some mistakes with my posts! :(

Sorry to say that Kash, but that can't be an excuse! If you are not feeling well, then just lay down or maybe take something against it, but do not post if you know that it will lead to troubles!

Your input wasnt needed here, people have already said what they thought, you dont need to say this.

Kash already apologized, and youve gone and worsened the situation.

Nice going...

Maybe, what's going on here. Every time when i accidentally type/say something, some person goes straight after me for even the smallest thing.

I think its not a problem to speak your mind, only the way you do.

I've already apologised earlier, and somebody obliviously didn't see it. So if i can't even get a praise for doing the right thing after i admitted to my mistake, then i'll just won't say anything anymore, if that is what makes you people happy.

I realise now that it is good to send a PM(personal message?) to a team before applying but how is that done, have gone into my mail but cannot find teams 'addresses' doesnt seem to be a wat to connect with them direct from the teams information page. Desperate to join a team who wants a hard working committed rookie to start working at getting points for their team, but I am getting knowwhere.

In response to David Smith : Well done on your first points :)
it took me until almost my 30th race so youre way ahead of me already!

BTW enjoy going to Silverstone, despite the lower facilities than other tracks it is an awesome place in my opinion.

And leave Kash alone everyone! Evenyone knows hes probably one of the nicest guys around and he just made a little mistake.

Yes, Jack is completely right, half of you guys chose to see through it, and Artur, your stab at Kash was almost as weak as you are.
