Toronto will be reasonably competitive. The Raps won a ton of games when KAwhi was on his load management rests. Running it back to the championship - super tough, but should make the playoffs at least

Most of the contracts are structured to end after next season, so they will have a ton of cap space then. If it all goes badly, they can ship some players off for controllable pieces at trade deadline

Think Siakam will sign a max extension in Toronto. OG Anonouby has potential. Who knows what this season could bring. Kawhi could go down again, Lebron and AD could miss chunks of the season, Golden State is missing 2 big pieces from their dynasty

Players are boycotting the games in protest of the shooting of Jacob Blake. It started with the Milwaukee Bucks' team not showing to play (they are from the state of Wisconsin, same state of the shooting), after that all teams decided not to play tonight.

There will be a reunion tomorrow to define the next steps.

It should be noted that at the general meeting of players tonight, the Lakers and Clippers both voted to not continue the season at all, and Lebron walked out of the meeting. What that means for the season is still as yet unclear.

Was assuming DeRozan would get traded. Thought he would end up in LA.

Chris Paul first domino to fall in free agency. to the Suns

Harden, do you think he will end up in NY (Brooklyn perhaps?)

I had that same thought, which would have freed up some cap space for us. But I like DeRozan so it aint too bad. LA and DeRozan together could get us play-offs next season, if the others are fit as well like Murray, Gay and White.

I thought Westbrook was going to Brooklyn to join forces with KD again?

Makes Raptors look like they may need to make some moves

Think Harden has expresssed interest in the Nets or the 76'ers.

Nets looking scary if they can fit the pieces together (and get them fit)

There are some big moves happening right now!!!

Bucks move is terrefic. Best lineup in the entire NBA right now.

About Harden, he just declined an extension offer. the latest is that houston organization wants to work things out, but probably he wants to leave... Not to sixers where the organization has given 1 year to work things with simmons and embid or they might be moved... so no potential simmons harden trade.

They have the assets to make a trade, but rumors says that irving doesnt want him to join... You know how he causes lockeroom troubles because his head... So i would be surprised about this potential trade.

About Derozan, LA just got schroeder, so no cap room to trade to derozan.

Maybe to keep their current roster haha. Resigning vanvleet and ibaka.

Much as I hate to say it as a Raptors fan, I think Kyle Lowry going home would be great for them. Give them the fight they are missing

signing Vanvleet and Ibaka to me are essential moves. Raptors always draft well in lower rounds or in picking up undrafted so looking forward to more rough dimonds

Tactics are really bad, that lineup with horford doesnt add, they need more spacing and outside shooting, same problem Bucks had until the recent moves. Sixers improved a little bit sending Horford to the bench, but they still need a 2nd player besides richardson to make plays(tobias cant)

LA has too much good connected players.
Currently is is hard to imagine that they won't be in Finals.

Maybe if Rockets change something it could work out.

But mainly I hope that Dallas will acquire backup and Porzingis will be healthy.

They can still trade him despite executing the option. Spurs are restructuring, so they might get an offer for him, its his last year.

Well.. there was an interest yeah, but sometimes in your franchise you see potential players leaving and you need to replace them.. they understood that Rondo was leaving, not executing his player option, so they needed a PG, so got schroeder... it was a great trade for LA btw.

Well... they didnt have to match Clippers because they blowed it against Denver... but a potential LA -clippers match? anything can happen

No way. Theyre too predictible... theyre in the rebuilding process.. They wont be a contender this season.

We probably would just let him walk in Free Agency next year. We need someone to partner with LA in potentially his last year with us, so unless Westbrook wants in Spurs, I doubt we would ship him out :)

I would prefer the cap space and build for the future, but Pop might have other ideas in mind :)

This should be the way to go... this is why i believe that a potential trade with derozan its good to start the rebuilding process... Spurs wont get to the PO this season either. So, it would be better to get something out of deRozan

Like many others... nowadays tampering rules is sort of a very grey area. But NBA hasnt fined them for now...

Id be surprised that Anteto would leave the Bucks tbh and more after the latest interview in the Greek TV.
Bogdanovic move wouldve been amazing, but the team has improved a lot anyway. lets see what happens next PO

Season start is not so important, they are good enough to get into playoffs.
Most important to stay healthy whole season.

New trades worked good for them - let's see how it goes with chemistry there.

What is your favourite club there Quintana?
