Hi gents.

Seems one of you guys has just entered into negotiations with MST. Just wanted to let you know I have it on 98% on an empty slot. I know there may be rookies in here who don't know the system - there's no need to waste your progress on this one.

it's nice to say, for this manager ^^
I am personally on "Vyagra" and I will speed up the negotiations of this gp! so the manager (s) who are also negotiating with him, pay attention to you

I can never understand why anyone joins a negotation war (in amateur) with it on even over 25%. It just isn't worth it. In Pro or Master, yeah, you would cos there's little option(s), but in amateur - the land of milk and honey - there's just no need, and its much better to go for sponsors you know you're not wasting your facilities on to be able to negotiate with, in order to get the maximum gain (and progress).

Hmm, I know nobody is probably reading this, but I'll try anyway.

If you start negotiations with sponsor that has 100% progress, it means someone else CAN START THE CONTRACT at any time and you're wasting your precious negotiations progress. Wasting!

For example this someone negotiating with Excelant Consulting and Dalcom (in my case).

See? I have accept button ready. And also - I'm mean SOB and I'll wait untill this someone wastes as much progress as possible :P

Yes. I think you are right.

But also I think there is a limit on the time you can hold that sponsor without accepting it? If so, could make sense to just try putting some % on the sponsosr in case you really want it (hoping it won't be accepted by you?)
'
Edit: In your case it says NEVER expiring (as I think that is a sponsor you get in between seasons when you are promoted?)... my guess is that whoever is challenging you does not know that.

Edit 2: of course I could be 100% wrong about all of this.

Well, but does it make any sense to risk it? Even if it expires, it's not 2 or 3 races, but few seasons. A lot of time to unblock the slot. I'm of course aware that there are a lot of people in Ama that have no idea what they are doing, and of course me writing comes from pure egoism, but it will help them as well ;)

Btw, there is 11 0% sponsors to pick up from. Really, it's that easy.

Sometimes it's best to see whether does it worth to spend time negotiating the contract when someone else is nearing the end.

One can be hopeful, but it could backfire if we forgot to accept it

But then again, by not accepting a contract, we can still decide what's best for the slot, right?
