If you buy a personal livery. If you want to change your personal livery in the future can you do this for free or would you again need to buy a whole new personal Livery?

About this and without reading the topic, maybe there is the answer...

Is it possible to have many personal liveries ?

Of course, at €50 each, although there may be a discount for multiple purchases :)

And of course non-transferable :)

Open wheel type cars only, James, as tyres placement is fix in race screen.

Hi there, I have two questions.
If I design livery by myself (following the templates) it still cost 50€?
And can I give personal livery to someone else as a gift?

Yes, the cost is still €50 no matter who designed it, although someone with more knowledge on the subject would have to answer whether it can be given as a gift.

Yes it still costs the same and yes it can be given to someone else (if you don't use it yourself) but you'd have to go through the Graphics team (Hans) to work out the details of how to do it.
I know that some managers have received personal liveries in this way.

Is it an idea to make combination packages

For example

When you buy a personal car livery you receive a few supporter credits because 50 euro is so expensive for a little picture. Maybe its an idea when you buy a 50 euro car livery you received 3 seasons supporter credits.

Pay €50 in supporter credits, get back €25.5 (3 seasons as you put it) in supporter credits as a "gift"? You'd have better luck lobbying to get the price lowered than your suggestion ever happening.

How about allowing up to three managers to use the same 'personal livery (maybe with very minor changes ie. helmet colour) for the price?
That would be a nice compromise as the majority of work is in checking and formatting the main design, I understand.

I want to design personal livery for me and my brother, but I think pay 100€ (50€ for me and 50€ for my brother) is too much for that. I know what time you need to make design for someone so in this case is price ok. But when all design work I will do by myself i think the price is really high. I think the price could be lower when you use the templates and follow instructions.

1 - yes, but if it comes ready-to-be-uploaded you get a small discount.
Mind you, before designing you should consult me about the limits etc and avoid pointless work and frustration . E.g. the batmobile would be a big no-no.
2 - yes, you can tell me to upload it for someone else.

We already have this, the STP team has similar cars as personalized teamlivery. (see e.g. :http://www.gpro.net/gb/ManagerProfile.asp?IDM=158182)
And for each extra car they get a discount.
The policy is however exclusivity. So I doubt personal cars will become cheaper.

see above - costs do not cover the amount of work put into most personal liveries. But the price is mainly high because Vlad wants personal liveries to remain exclusive.
If you create your own cars you can get a small discount. If 2 cars are similar you can get a small reduction on both cars obviously.

Maybe we should make a FAQ of this :)

Hi Imrich,

I believe it was already discussed earlier. It isn't really the matter of time that it takes to design a livery. The price is set so high to make a personal livery exclusive and luxury good.

How do you think, how much cost the production of a Phillippe Patek watch for example?

E: Too late. Bad Hans :-P

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it. There doesn't seem to be a facility to extend the rental period or buy the livery outright once you're already renting the livery, you have to wait until your current rental period expires and so risk losing the livery. Could this option be added please?

Quick question, once you've bought a personal livery from the livery market is it possible to change the legacy name that comes with it to something else? I'm stuck with "Newcastle Tit Boys" and though I am a tit at times I'm not from Newcastle.

Hi,
I took over the ATR team where I already spent several seasons.
The livery has disappeared and I would like it to be reactivated.
I am not a designer :)
How should it be done?
Thanks

You can buy it in the livery market for 15 supporter credits so you can have it as a team livery
