Bad times, I have a lot of respect for ignition after the Luke thing, real shame in my eyes.

That's because they are not drinking all the time as Whiskeys or Martinis.

Looking forward to the recruitment thread, last one was legendary.
not sure about the recruitment process yet. i need to think long and hard about what potential members are able to give and take in return. i wont take any old member you know.

Since 2 days, for a simple reason. Czech by mom side and Albanian by dad side.
Since he noticed a very important Czech manager in his group and felt the need to suck up to him :P

Nah shoaib i had got info few seasons back of a national belgium team being setup. I dnt know if it is this one,if its is jo van might also be in it ,also mario cuffez and few more my ex team-mate olivier deluc from belgium was supposed to be in it but because of personal life issues he had to retire.lets see.
could be....but also some of those people as Edwin, Jo and Guy started out together in gpro at the same time...so possible they just want to start over part of their original team :)

Team Resistance beginning to take shape and looking pretty impressive!

I have seen a lot of insight and lack of knowledge here on the General forum, so this is time to give a statement for Ignition and let the spotlights turn to somewhere else.
Kevin Mcferrin has left the team because of his professional life, he has no time for team or GPRO at all temporarily or for longer. We will be missing Kevin's sense of humour and life experience. Kevin has announced this long upfront.
Edwin Carlier, Guy Smets and Jo Van Wijmeersch left the team suddenly and although they communicated their decision to us individually, I will try to say my opinion in one sentence. What started to be sort of differencies in the opinions on the team values, ended as the communication problem. The guys are building now their own team and I can imagine they are going to be happy about it, and I wish this to them really sincerely. At the end I believe all was well meant from everybody in a certain way.
We are reamining five old generation team mates now who joined the team between S18 and S21 altogether with our two newer skilled and getle mates. Ignition is discussing now how we will complete the team using our prevailing old values. We have the best ground possible for that, I am very optimistic.

So it's not a national team. Heite's resistance breaks the record I think - 17 seconds :)

Given a few seasons, I wouldn't be surprised to see both Ignition and Team Resistance competing high up the team standings.

Pretty ambigous statement.
How many and how high :)

How many is when all members are scoring full points. How high is probably consistently top 10.
If there was no break up of Ignition, they were one team capable of challenging for the title in the next few seasons (as shown by the undefeated Team Cup Victory and 2nd place in the standings a few seasons ago). Of course, there is also the luck element of having everyone pushing in the same season and this would apply to several other teams that don't have a title already.
But that is now the past. It all depends how Ignition recovers from the quick loss of half a team in one day and how the more unknown players in Resistance work out to see how they progress.

Team discussion forum people. If you are going to thumbs down then discuss why you disagree.

You back racing now Kevin? :D
Do you think we see you going back to Ignition?

I was actually thinking about reactivating my account just so it gets rid of that enormous "Before being able to play..." box and so I can use the new style office. Having a team for people like me - just for giggles - if someone was kind enough to create it, would that work? I know Groinkpff is functioning despite them not racing, but they're admins.

I only rejoined so I could use the new style office again as it's no good when you are retired.
And I've accidentally clicked resend activation link about 37 times since I retired because of my fat fingers when using my phone :)
Kubski, I always thought Martini was just for giggles? ;)

No, that was for fame and prestige lol
|
|

That would be a nice team indeed, just for messing around, and so TT doesn't have anymore that silly window to click on every time i PM him.
You just need someone in AMA or above to do it for you, but better off end season for this kind of stuff when managers are retiring...
|
|
|
they can join AM if they leave again before the money is cashed out at the end of the season...not seeing to many people that want to drive a metro these days :)
