To be fair, that idea does have some legs; it'd be hard to end up with a worse bunch of Mods than we currently have.

I believe that if there was to be a referendum, Webster would come close to getting elected, but in the end you'd all chicken out of it.

I would urge all voters, do not use your vote as a short-term protest vote against the current regime. The new mod you choose will be in power for the next 100 years at least.

Congratulations, thats the dumbest crap i have heard today.
Mods are forum users as well, and are typically some of the most active forum users (it would be hard to moderate something if you rarely seen it).
Just because they are mods doesnt mean they shouldnt be allowed to post just like any other user, and that included posting dumb crap like you just did.
All it means is that occasionally they use the ability to moderate things to remove offensiclve posts. You idiots need to quit thinking that everything a mod posts is some sort of official mod post.
I am all for mod bashing, they are the lowest of the low forms of scum, but getting offended because a forum moderator uses a forum as a person (not as a mod) is rediculous.
So yea, call winky a dirty piece of crap (he is a mod he deserves it), but dont get butt hurt when he does the same to you

You get offended anytime someone mentions anything that could in anyway be constued as being related to you.
of course, you wouldnt make any comment on it if it was said by anyone other than winky or pinky.
And of course you missed the entire point of my message (to be expected of course). Mods are forum users until they are doing so mod thing. Unless they are doing something which they mod other players from doing, then there is really no arguement here.
There just happen to be a few players that want the forums to be some kind of fairy land where everyone says all the nicest things....... and a few players who cant take a joke.

I don't hate Cardiff, I'll grant you that, but attending a Wales football match is a rather pointless excursion; you've seen how shit we are, right? Saying that, we did beat Belgium last time around IIRC.

My team leader is my second favorite person to make fun of (and i even have this handy private forum to do it in).
If promoted it would essentially cut my enjoyment in half!
