They will wear very quickly in the dry. But I once did all these algebra equations to prove my sister's tyres would not last long enough in a somewhat similar race, and was surprised with the results.

I'm new in this game
and i have to collect all information about it
tyres wear, fuel, parts etc.. so I will take the risk :D

Yeah, but who would be that dummy who'd start on dry knowing that after few laps he will be higher on track...?
Unless we have something like 10 laps on dry which would make no sense too.

i think the best thing to do is just weigh up the probability. its more probable that it will rain than it will not...in which case dry tyres are a massive gamble. but there's nothing to say there's zero chance of it not raining. i hope it rains within a lap myself :P

There's always some way to reduce the chances of the weather f****** up your strategy.

Considering the weather from Q1 to the one at Q2, I rather bet at more than 8 dry laps due to temperature going up than get colder and start rainning.
So, since this game like to foolish us, I will keep my eyes on that strategy and pray a LOT for it become true!
The other option is ... TOO OBVIOUS :)

How does gpro generate its weather forecasts? :D

Make it little more, I want to watch those with Ex-Softies making one pit to get new tyres, and lap later another pit stop for the rain compound... And those, who will start on wet tyres? I don't want to even mention that :x
