Well I am not sure if there already is a forum asking this question but, What is the most important driver attributes to look out for when signing a driver or training him? Would greatly appreciate if you could list them out in order of priority. Thanks.

Sign drivers with different attributes and compare them.
Try to spot the important skills.

Joachim please search?
This is all information you need to figure out yourself my friend.
Do us all a favour and read the RULES, Faq and guide above?
However you will get alot of your answers from a simple search within the forum.
People are not gonna hand things out no a plate for you unless your lithuainian. Which your not.
I will tell you this though, picking the right driver is quite important. That quite btw is an understatement.
Please search

Would greatly appreciate if you could list them out in order of priority. Thanks. it depends in different groups i think ..but amongst them concentration and stamina is best attribute according to me..i also admire the driver's talent and agrresiveness too... though all of his attributes makes u promotion or relegation so u can't choose anything special amongst them...:)

There is no attribute that is more important than another. They are all necessary and work together. Nevertheless, for different 'leagues' the significance of certain attributes could be higher, as most importantly money and OA keep you from having driver who is perfect at everything. Which attributes are more important for Rookie can be found by searching the forum thoroughly .. :-)

One thing rookies sometimes do not understand is HOW HIGH a skill has to be to make a difference.
Say the key skill is X (I would post the skills I believe are key here without a problem, I do not believe on the FOBY concept, but anyway rules are rules) and you get a driver where that is your highest skill at say 150. And he is still slow.
Some skills just "kick in" at certain levels, therefore it is a combination of skill and level on that skill that matters.
On a skill 190 might be way too little, in another one 50 might be huge.

For Rookie you should be looking at concentration and stamina really. I can't tell you what level of concentration and stamina you should be looking for but they do help. Talent is good aswell because it determines how well you perform in the rain. A driver with alot of aggression I don't think is good because you probably make alot of mistakes.
Also in Wiki or somewhere it says that a salary of $3m is too high. I would say $2m is high aswell but it's your decision if you can look after your finances, which I find hard.

I'd say $1.5 million is still too high. There are plenty of good drivers for Rookie and higher that can be had for far less than that.

Some of the common statements are false and others are simplistic. There's even major disagreements between elite & master level players. One top player described TI is the most useless attribute & for another it's the first thing he looks for in a driver.

Nevertheless, for different 'leagues' the significance of certain attributes could be higher, as most importantly money and OA keep you from having driver who is perfect at everything. Along with David Jundt's comment, this is the only one you need to understand. It's a combination of attributes that work together, although some are better at certain amounts with limited OA.
But hey, even flour is bad for you without other ingredients. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ __ _ _
Btw : Try a forum search, ok.

I do think there is no attribute you can say it´s not important... it´s a question of finding the best balance... too much or too less of any is never a good sign in my opinion.

I'd agree. But then a jack of all trades won't work either :(

If your favourite driver is Grosjean or Maldonado, then aggressiveness will be the most important. If Alonso or Vettel is your favourite, then talent, you will need. If Schumacher was your hit, then experience and technical insight is a must. If Massa or Button seems good to you, concentration will be needed. Hamilton? Charisma. Mark Webber? Weight. Perez? Age. And finally, if you don't watch F1 (of course you do) then motivation is priority cos he will keep YOU motivated when you are down. Good luck!

I had assumed it was supposed to be a joke rather than something serious.
Anyway, dredging up a 2 year old thread to post that wasnt really necessary....so closed to prevent further posting.
