Who do you think was driver of the day at todays Grand Prix then? There were many great drives I though, and Button was very unlucky. But my vote goes even though he didnt finish to Pastor Maldonado. He did brilliant and maintained his position in the points nearly all of the race...until Hamilton continued his reckless race, punted him into the Ste. Devote barriers and ruined it for him. Shame on Lewis

Maldonado despite Hamilton's banzai. Had the red flag not come out it's likely I would have said Button.

Yes Sutil cliped the wall at the exit of Tabac, and that caused repurcussions and lead Alguersuari into the back of Hamilton at Piscine and as Petrov had nowhere to go he also crashed.

Kobayashi hit him at Mirabeu earlier on the right rear tyre (the one that punctured) presumably causing the puncture for Sutil.

I think the puncture had begun before that but he would've found about it there where its under a high loading.

They all changed tyres I believe and it is, unfortunately, allowed.

Anyone voting for Button is a little silly, yes he had unluck but the fact is Vettel was ahead before the Red Flag, and yes the tyre change rule is silly, but he still would have been behind after the rolling restart..... if anything Maldonado or Alonso were the best.

Can you quote that part of the rules, because my understanding is that they can work on the cars.

I'm only going on what Eddie and DC said. They know a whole lot more about the rules than I do ;)
Believe it's because the cars are not in Parc Ferme.

Button was by far the better driver today. Vettel got rather lucky this weekend but still had a good drive early on in the race and did some good defending later on.
