Quote ( Graham Mercer @ May 30th 2017,06:10:22 ) Energy use at that track is higher perhaps? You used risks that were too high perhaps? Have you changed drivers and if so are the stats of the two drivers markedly different in some areas? All or any of these may be contributing to energy consumption.
Ohh I see 1. Could be but I don't know exactly 2. I even lowered the risk as I used new driver 3. Yes
I think the most affecting one was the 3rd one, but still it's so strange. Thanks btw

Don't underestimate the impact a track can have. Especially an unusual one.

Wanna ask a little thing, does driver's stamina affect the driver energy before and after race? Thx for your answer
|
|

I'm pretty sure no-one will answer that on the forums. It's something you and your team should figure out.

FOBY thing?? Ah thanks

Hello guys! In the rules is said that the energy depends on driver skills, risks taken and the track. Does it imply that it only depends on that and no other thing? LIke for example the tyre supplier? Thank you.

Appears to be the case Vitaly. Seems to be enough variables with driver skills, track and risks to have livened things up with the game

<Lap 25 One of the sidepods was damaged and had to be repaired> --very unusual for 3/4 worn sidepods, half of throttle and "removed ..technical problems related to high risks"
Not fair in my mind!
|
|

Maybe it was damaged because of a squirrel crossing the track.

Not fair in my mind! I had a The steering wheel was making troubles for your driver and it had to be replaced sometimes a random is just a random, not related to technical problems, I assume that yours was also.

I had something with my helmet😂😂🖒

Yesterday's race was my first with this current format. One race and my driver already goes down to 41%. What can I do to bring it back up?

His energy will slowly regenerate between races, if the energy was 41% after the reset then you should be at or close to 100% by race time.
You can increase energy level by doing spa training if you feel it is necessary.
You will lose some energy with each qualifying run, depending on the qualifying risks that you use, so allow some time to recover that energy if you want to maximise your energy level.

Helmet and punctured tyres are OK, these are not technical problems.

Knocking the car against another, or a wall, isn't unheard of either, damaging the sidepod. Not due to wear, random.

Or as he said it had 75% wear, so could of been wear related also. I know most if not all of us run wear to higher than that, but the way I have always viewed it is the higher the wear the bigger chance of a problem with that part .

Was giving an option in where it could also be down to pure random and not wear related. One thing it's NOT is due to high risks as that was taken away. At least I opt to believe the staff when they say it was.

In my group, on the last lap, in first place, just beyond the pit lane... high speed puncture!!
Now that is a RANDOM deserving of many curse words and much frustration.

Did you say you wanted to be like Ferrari by any chance?

you should consider lower risk ;)
|
|

or spa training instead of driver skill training xD
#cakeandeatit
then you can just let the drivers skills be his next managers problem :p

Definitely. It is fair that my DE consumption is 25-30% more than close set of friends, and just a 20% more than friend's set in Master.
So: #bitchingaboutenergy

Started from 100 driver energy. So spa training would not made difference this time.
Therefore again: #bitchingaboutenergy

Yeah, energy is too heavily weighted towards 1 particular skill. But it is what it is.
|
|
|
Yeah but then that portion of the OA was expensive anyway, so I just think it's given it some extra importance, which is nice. Wanna use more risk? The choice is simple : Have more of that skill (and one other) or use higher risk instead with spa training. And if you're still not getting the desired progress then it's back to the drawing board and improving upon where you are/were deficient.
Which is something that's never changed in the game and is the same for everyone in all honesty, there's always something to learn and improve upon. So, not much point in dwelling on it or #bitchingabout energy - though I do understand the sentiment and voicing one's opinion or displeasure with it. The challenge to manage the resources you have more effectively than everyone else is more prominent than ever since DE. Good luck Laszlo, you did a tremendous job to get where you are even while bitching about energy, so hats off to you for that :)
keep bitchin', bitch :p

Need DE lottery?
No need: FOBY advice !!!

Lottery? It's more like a poker game. You make management decisions that affect the outcome, don't you?
Obviously, there is a need to make the correct decisions, to succeed. That is what is most important in your success or failure in your career.
The choices and decisions you make are the guiding force to your progress. (like Real Life requires)
The team who makes the least mistakes wins, every time. Sort of quoted, from somebody ?? :)
Bitchin' about it, does not solve the puzzle.
