First of all, hi!
I was wondering if one can know what the fuel load of the car is in practice laps and in Q1? This is caused by, in my opinion, contradictory data: 1) I would expect the fuel load to be minimal, as one would like to set an as fast as possible time for Q1. This is supported by my lap time in Q2 usually being slower, I assumed due to the fuel load put. 2) However, then I see myself (and many others) lapping quicker (by like 3s) in the race than in Q1 (with same setup, similar weather, mostly worn tyres), which kinda made me think that maybe everyone is forced to run practice and Q1 with full fuel load?
Any thoughts on this? I would like to know to adjust setup from Q1 to Q2 and race and really think that this data should be available somewhere. (maybe it is, and I couldn't find it?)
Thanks in advance, Aswin

Practice and Q1 are done with 1L of fuel.

Thanks! Guess there are others reasons for the quick race laps.... I'll need to collect more data for this.
Also is this listed somewhere (if not, should it be?) or does the answer come from experience?

If you take a look at the tyres description, there will be a warm up item. It could explain why it takes time to haver quicker laps.

Quote ( Tibor Szuromi @ August 12th 2020,23:17:01 ) This is new to me. Sure? It's not exactly 1L of fuel, but with the least amount of fuel needed to complete a lap around the circuit. Q1 laps and Practice laps are made as a single lap. Let's suppose this was real life, both Q1 and Practice laps would be made as out lap-fast lap-in lap. Only giving the tires one lap to warm up. In the race we have many laps to allow tires to warm up and hence to give us better lap times. You also need to take into consideration the temperature of the track since FP/Q1 and Q2/Race weathers and temperatures are different.

Is everyone getting what they need? (Fuel)
It would be more interesting if you had to refuel to Q1, Q2 as well.

1) GPRO is so eco-friendly that both practise and Q1 is run without any fuel, powered by holy ghost or something :)
2) CT + warmed up tyres

You fuel up for Q2 Having to set fuel in Q1 or practice laps and getting feedback would give away too much information.
