Agreed with this. Don't ask sex or gender. Simply ask what pronouns are preferred. Male (he/him), Female (she/her), Non-binary (they/them).
There are other non-official ones but I wouldn't claim to know enough about it, embarrassingly, so can't comment on that.
Bottom line is, people wanting to address you would benefit from knowing how to do so, hence why most social sites require a gender. There is no other reason for sex/gender to be mandatory public information. Therefore it seems like an easy solution to just require preferred pronouns, no?

BTW, my quote above is from an old film, basically means you're (we're) not important or welcome.
For everyone else it means that whilst I have no issue with whatever anyone wants to identify as, we seem to be in a situation where if your straight, white and make you need to apologise for it.

This is the worst topic I've ever encountered in a forum for this game, I class it as a political debate, pointless crap, my daughter came home from school and said there are 100 genders she is 10 yrs old, wtf r these woke teachers teaching these kids, I don't care if ur a mary, a Joseph, or a mary Joseph, just don't need it rammed down our kids throats, each to there own, keep it that way...
