I haven't seen it btw, my brother is on the TV. There was just on board footage so very hard to see what really happened, except for the result of it.

It was a left hander, approach speed after breaking around 170kmh, the front hit the deck on the left hand side first and slid away, with Casey being hitched up in the air. It was a classic high side> If he had lost the front, Casey would have been able to hang on to the handlebars, slide down the road with the bike and probably save his bike and race......

I should imagine it probably was that fast even on a warm up lap.
Its similar to watching F1 cars weave left to right behind the safety car lol....Bert Schneider or whatever his name is, hammering around some 500bhp+ amg mercedes at 100mp+ and the F1 cars look like they are idling along behind them just taking a stroll....

Bert Schneider
Either Bernd Schneider, several DTM champion,
or
Bernd Mayländer, current SC driver in f1.

Yeah, looks like Casey wasn't expecting such a sudden move.

Good evening to all managers.
Nobody else spoke about MotoGP here? I am very happy for Miguel Oliveira's first victory today ... What is your opinion?
|
|
|
Yes he did a really clever move at the end. I am hppy to him too.

Watch out, Marc. Or Marquez or... who? :D
And I should have played that silly game.

A very deserved victory with this clever movement!
But to say the truth i am little worried about those heavy accidents in the last races. These bikes are absolutely at the limit with about 280 HP.

Vinales jumping from his motorbike was very scary imo.

And it's a Yamaha problem. If they don't fix it ASAP they should be out of the leadership by next race.
Just think no brakes in the next corner... no, I have to win this... no...

hello everyone, happy for MIGUEL, but if I think about it I get angry for the suzuki, without red flag MIR probably brought home victory.
but I ask a question, in your opinion the tires are not at least strange this year? in terms of performance, from one week to another the bikes are completely different, and also their performance.

IF...
If my grandmother had wheels, she would be a truck...
About the tyres, good or bad, tyres are the same for everyone, or at least the choice is there, equal opportunity to all.

I understand your nationalism ;)
but suzuki is coming and I am happy about that.
Compared to gums my speech is not about who helps or who doesn't.
but actually I'm talking about substantial differences on the same bike and in the same race, Dovizioso in this gp is a clear example.

You're right. Mir would probably get it. But the same happened to Pol Espargaró in the previous race. The difference was that he had to change the rear tyre after the red flag. Mir restarted in the pole. Miguel in the exact same position, 7th. It's not how it starts, it's how it ends, after the last corner.
I could say that if Miguel wasn't hit by a couple of randoms in the last two races, hit by 2 drivers with no cool at all :-), when he was 6th and 5th he may have had pulled this win earlier. Since Moto3 he has much better races than grids.
We will all be happy for him a few more times.

I'm actually a Yamaha guy but I like the Suzuky riders. This year all except Honda/Marc Marquez are coming. Just picture this, Formula 1 without Mercedes... would be a thrill in every race. :-)
