Thanks Stuart and good luck too. I'm happy. Finally the long awaited Pro championship for me. You didn't made it cheap for me, but it was worth it. Also congratulations to Petar and Stavros. Good luck in Master.
Interestingly, right up until race 12 before I started doing some big part upgrades to ensure of relegating on a strong car, I was only 300th for most expenses in all Pro, which was pretty good. Shows the difference it can make if you start the season with strong package (which I made sure of even before the Michi choice). I think you were inside the top 100 and ahead of me most of the season on expenses til that point. So yeah, it wasn't a cheap season for sure! Was fun though...well, til like race 13 or so...but hey, I'm glad you got the title....it's always nice to tick these achievements off - and even better when it was quite hard work to earn it...was for me in S51 when I was against Ricardo Vidal - someone I consider a top manager. That one was quite sweet too cos I got it the very next season after being promoted from amateur :)
This was actually my highest point Pro scoring season, and also most wins and podiums in any single Pro season so I'm quite happy to have managed that. As I said to you at the start of the season by pm, I expected to run out of cash by about race 13, so making it as deep into the season as I did, and going down in a strong position, I'm quite pleased...hopefully I can return and have myself better setup next time on Pro arrival. Was not great arriving with a level 5 car on this run - last season was expensive just to get things to a competitive level, and that's why I thought it better to not promote to Master. If some RL shit hadn't happened at the back end of my amateur promo, would have arrived in a better condition and maybe had more sponsors and a better package to feel I could make a good go of it in Master...but I really did not feel confident about it.
Anyway....
Congratulations Stefan Stillhart , Pro 3 champion S67
Who do you think is going to promote this season? My personal favorite is Mélanie Delhaye, but I didn't follow if anyone is going to lose their drivers after a few races
Yeah, hello everyone and good luck with the season! Got into the same Pro group which I ever visited first.
What's more, it will be fun to celebrate my 1000th GPRO race tonight. Like I did with my 500th GP, I'll torture the group forum with a music video for the special occasion :D A Thousand Markka Banknote, combined with Sandstorm video, can't be more cool.
Not just for you :). I was expecting this race directly, and I had my favorite track. I just wanted to watch the race all the way through, I just fell asleep, and when I got up I only saw that my team leader write that I was going for a nice race, but I wouldn't have dreamed of finishing 4th. :)
I would love to earn more $, but I guess you will not allow that to happen :)
Imagine you have raced for all your career passionately with almost no breaks and now have not raced for 15 races already. How would you feel? I think his image represents his mental health, fitness and motivation at the moment quite well :) He has already attended some specialists before getting in the car and will be monitored in the future :)
