I always kept saying to my friend I don't like the game with good reasons and then he letted me to make one character on his account, I played it a bit, got like to level 5 and after few stupid quests I was like "Ya, I knew this. I hate this game and playing this made it even worse" so I don't like it =)

i played WoW for a couple years pre-expansions, then got bored of the really poor PvP element of the game and went back to dark Age Of Camelot where PvP is actually fun and takes skill.

I have Joined CDO a few days ago, since my guild disbanded, so I didn't know much people on CDO. But I know the guid Eden, a top Alliance guild on CDO, just ahed of mine ^^
In fact, I'm an ex "Genesis" from Drek'Thar.

I played for Millenium (Archimonde) before they've decided to fusion with Seed. Didn't like the idea so I went back to Cho'gall to play with some old friends.

WOW have never caught my attention. You pay too much and at the same time your wasting money and time. I hear the 'WOW' name everyday. It gets frustrating hearing it. No offense for the people who play but WOW is not my thing and never well. And this topic just wants to make me turn of my screen.

Nice curriculum !
Millenium is really a good guild, I always refer to their forums for my character optimization.

The only thing good about wow as far as i'm concerned is the occasional good friend you meet and the guild politics/drama.
The whole thing however is just a big grind and endless repetition of the same stuff everyday which after 5 solid years of playing kinda got to me. Lots of stuff could have been added to make it more interesting such as one time events like the opening of Ahn Quiraj or conquerable territories like wintergrasp but for the entire world.
But the former wont happen again and the latter will just make people cry in nerdrage and thats just annoying overall.
I also have to admit its got a few features that close to no other games have managed to reproduce well, mainly an economy thats worth "caring" for (the AH is actually alive and working, as opposed to the AH in Age of Conan) and an actual in-game population that makes it feel like you're not wasting your time, and by that i mean, Darkfall, DAOC, UO OSI servers, AoC, SW Galaxies etc. all have some population, but not enough to make you feel like it matters.
MMORPGS are awesome on the whole, i just wish that someone would get it right and provide something worthy

I used to play it loads, gets really repetitive though, and as you move up levels it loses the fun element ... stopped a few years ago, my son still plays it tho.

Shadowlands will bring many back, it looks real good and back to basic's, 1-60
pretty impressive and just what Blizzard needed to do, took several years off but currently 100% xp so leveling is much faster right now, pity my old server many have moved so its not as populated as it was, but all good still easy to group etc with cross realm
