What is your opinion on Jun's claim about Laila?

As Marcelo has pointed out, the team discussion topic should get back on topic. So here is a topic to discuss Jun's "revelation".

The way I see it there are a few possible answers to the debate.
First possibility is Jun's claim is true and Darvex (that is Laila's partner's name, according to Jun) plays GPRO but uses the name of his wife - not that big a deal really apart from a fake name issue (there is no claim or suspicion of a double account and I don't want that mentioned at all here as it would just lead to a closed thread!). Secondly, Jun could be trying to have a laugh with us all and him or a few of the boys in Riga made it up to see the reaction. Or Jun could be trying to have a laugh and Laila was involved in the joke, maybe even her idea. Finally, Jun could believe what he is saying but be wrong as Laila, or others, has tricked him.

If the person behind that account is not Laila then that guy has gone to great lengths to fool people. This includes PMing me with questions about South Asian/Middle East songs/music videos which Laila likes :/ (I can't quite imagine a guy liking those songs ;))

I think it's just drama.
Who actually cares who is behind an account?
This is a game, our goal is to be better than others, no matter how they are called and their gender. If they didn't violate any rules (beside the name thing, which can be overcome with admin authorization) it's just fine for me.
A different thing is the broken trust of people who became friend with her and weren't aware of the issue (if there is any issue), but that's not part of the daily game :)
Just my 2c.

If Jun is not telling the truth then he is seriously pushing the boundaries in terms of what is acceptable behaviour on the forums. I'd say a permanent forum ban would be a fitting punishment.

Haven't read all the stuff yet. I only came in for the snappy riposte.
A bit of a cop out to answer a question with a question, but does anyone really care? I don't. I have no idea who is behind the account.
OK that is a bit of a cop out. I would be surprised if it wasn't Laila.

I'm certain Laila plays the game herself. I'm sure I remember a Latvian GPRO friend of mine saying he spoke with her on the phone about the game - he'd have noticed if it were a man, I'm sure. It may be that the account is shared, but that's no great problem, and certainly isn't against the rules - the double account rules force it, as it's the only way two can play if they only have access to one PC.
As for the answer to the poll; I'm not sure. Could be any of the last three items. I favour Jun being tricked

The good news is that is not a DA since Darvex is not manager here (at least I think). If this is true then there is no problem at all, only "Laila" will have problems now with all the people that trust in "her" during so long time.

Hello. Full story you all will receive ~21:30 site time. Because:
1. I do not know who is who from you. And do not know how to talk with you.
2. I never did and never will do anything related to this site and account without accept by Laly. But she is not at home at present moment.
3. I am not a story maker. I am just a calculator and online translator.
But to few words written in this forum i would like to answer:
1. This account is registered by Laila. Back then i had no ANY free time for myself. While my darling felt lonely at home. She played alone without slightest assistance until season 10. But, yes, I have full access to it.
2. #1 Kevin Parkinson. None of possibilities mentioned is correct. So you must create option "other".
3. My name is not Darvex. It is not even my nickname. but interesting that my nickname is mentioned in this forum.
4. #6. I never was interested in kind of music mentioned. And i do not recognize Laila ever asked me to translate something related to this theme.
5. #19. The person you know and contact is Laila.
6. #22. They talked also yesterday. I am quite certain that Laila passed the test about game basics in native language once again.
7. Here are 5 letters in the mailbox. We will answer them when Laila return home. To be more precise, she will answer them herself with my assistance if http://www.stars21.com/translator/english_to_latvian.html fails. As last 2 years.

Team discussion thread, Cale. Someone already answered that here. Also if you search forum you'll only find one post by Jun Ho using the word Darvex. Gordon has edited the original post (it had a sweary word) but it's still there.
