Ahvenisto: Edwin you deserved the podium finish after following me for 76 laps with 58 overtaking attempts. Fortunatly (for me) I was not watching that live.

Thanks, Peter, but to be honest, your strategy was perfect. A 4th place, and it would have been a 3rd place had not it been for your technical failure, while using very low risks (0 maybe) was superb.
I'm not a big fan of the overtaking mechanics of the game, because you are way more likely to have a DM while trying to overtake, and then lose more places, than actually overtake. But you take advantage of that mechanic very nicely.

I'm not a fan of those mechanics aswell, I think that when we start taking agressiveness into account that should change... but still it's absurd the amount of DMs you get from overtaking by comparison to other risks

Hi, guys. Whoever is negotiating with Schucho, I'd appreciate if you drop the negotiation. I'm already 20 points ahead of you in the negotiations, so it isn't very likely you will get to seal the deal, and you are forcing me to put him in very high priority, which isn't my plan. Instead, you could do we both a favor by choosing another sponsor, for instance one of the almost 40 0% advance available ones. :)

Depending on how Denis goes on from here on forth, Pacheco might actually sneak into promotion. His pace's been very strong on the last races. The fight for 3rd might become very interesting.
Wouldn't it be fun if they go at each other and both end on negative leaving you for a promotion edwin? Im confident we'll be together next season! hahaha
Also good god so many FTs this race, Hope I can get a podium on this one, Gabor with a FT will be impossible lol.

Yes, it would be fun to be together next season. But not in pro. So no, thanks. :)
But you are right, something interesting is going on here. Maybe Denis is in money saving mode. His current 52 points are good enough to either promote directly with a 3rd place or with promotion points (the current cut is at 44 points). Anyways, I don't think neither Denis nor Robson are going to demote; they have way too many seasons of experience to drop all that staff advance by going back to rookie, so as long as I stay below any of them, I'm safe.

Well, my car is worse, our drivers are similar, I put dry tyres on the Q2 by mistake, I don't want to win due to the win bonus, I can't get too many points because I don't want to promote and I haven't had a better race than you but like 2 times this season. So no, I'm not ready. It will be a walk in the park to you. :)

I was thinking that, but was kinda afraid to jinx it you know? lol
I thought you had purposely got the wrong tires on, what a shame to mistake that.

I'm gonna go with one of the following in order of probability:
1- It stops by lap 4 and re-starts by lap 27-28
2- It stops by lap 4 and doesn't start again.
3- It doesn't stop raining at all.

With 0-1% rain probability in the first quarter, I'd have gone with dry tyres too. 0-10% is way too much. If it doesn't stop raining in the first quarter, which is a real probability, you will end losing almost 3 minutes.

Yeah, exactly my thought, If it's inversed I might try it out, seeing as the rain compound gets destroyed on a dry track.
But 10% chance, if it doesn't stop and I go with dry I'll be effectively out of the points. Seeing as this race makes you go from 7 to 9 seconds slower, it is a HUGE loss of time.
Honestly what bothered me the most about whiting this one was the insanely high humidity...
Still I just hope it rains for 8 or so laps, than I'll be very comfortably ahead hahaha

hahaha, it is ok, Denis and Robson are still ahead of me, and I think Robson wants to promote. Otherwise he wouldn't have risked to be ahead of Denis after today's race (just 20 seconds faster and he would currently be 3rd in the standings). Unfortunately, Robson did just 2 points today, so I'm afraid I have to ruin next race.

I scored only 2 points cuz my driver has a lot of talent and rain were not good times, dropping my position. I have the chance, I hope it does not rain!

The weather in the last races is certainly making it interesting for the neutral to watch the promotion battle.

That's true. However, even if Denis and Robson don't get any more points I can get a 4th place and still be safe. Whereas I'm using a sub-optimal strategy and 0 risks today, I don't think I will be anywhere close to the podium (don't fail me, Gabor, Caio, Robson and maybe Peter; I'm watching you).

Im thinking you are at the mercy of the GPRO gods today, depending on how the weather behaves here, there is a good chance something crazy goes on.

Indeed, Caio. Just in case, I put full dry setup. My driver isn't very good in dry conditions, so the 0 risk will do the trick. And in case it rains, well, my setup isn't adequate for wet conditions. Besides, my stints won't be long, just 30 laps the first stint and slightly longer the other ones, so people with harder compounds will most likely be the one who benefit if the weather is weird. I think all bases are covered not to make a podium.
