Ok so this is a common theme for me...
Can someone explain to me how I can get outbid on a driver who signed to another manager for 50k per race less money?? It's worth noting that i also offered maximum signing fee, maximum win bonus, maximum podium bonus, 100k points bonus and 17 races!!
Is this a bug?? This is always happening to me

There is a maximum, based on manager's finances, just can't remember the percentage of how much :/

Hmm, missed that one, but still if it's based on individual finances, then there's no absolute maximum, so other guy could have offered more than Christopher, wright?

I am just guessing here, but given your financial situation, their maximum was probably higher than yours, so maybe they gave more bonuses after all?

Yes, the signing fee is capped at 300% of the driver's salary. The bonuses however depend on the manager's money balance.

Well... it also happened "to the other guy" but just the other way around.

quoted from the rules :
The maximum bonuses that you can offer to drivers and technical directors depend on your current money balance. If your balance is negative you will not be able to offer any bonuses at all.
