Is a thread about Mercedes, Williams, and then another team improving on the horizon?

There are several different threads which you can discuss teams in, there doesn't need to be a poll, although you seem enthusiastic about it :)

My opinion - if Kubica didn't injure himself, the leader of the championship would be different ;)

My opinion - if Kubica didn't injure himself, if the spring had not hit the head of Massa and Kimi does not like ice cream and vodka, the leader of the championship would be the same ;)

Given that this team were 2005/06 drivers' champions (admittedly with a much better driver) have they done well this year...hmmm, depends what you're comparing them to.

Lotus or Renault of old, massively under-performing. In terms of current drivers/budget, yeah 7/10 - not bad at all. Come back to me once they win a race this season ;)

I think they've done well, they've made a few errors this season. However they've not hindered their races too much, since they've scored points in pretty much every race. The painful one being in China, if Kimi got that 2nd place he'd be alot closer to leading the championship n' Lotus would be in a great position heading into Monaco. :)

(Although they're in a good position already so the mistakes didn't cost them -too- much)

what I think is that they've done excellent due to their results

lets not get carried away, Kimi & Roman have both made solid returns to F1 thats for sure but before we call the Lotus team excellent, lets remember that 5 other teams without clear race pace advantage have won GP so far this season & Lotus haven't. In terms of points Lotus actually have the same as they did this time last year, so its going to be if they can keep up the points scoring throughout the season before its an improvement in my books.

7 teams have been on the podium already. The 5 teams that won only 1 person from each of the teams have won.The 2012 F1 Championship has been exciting so far but Lotus is probably trying to get a win since they've been on the podium already(2 and 3(RAI was 2 already and GRO and RAI were already 3)but Monaco might stop them for risking so you won't know until you find out.

Lotus are doing a great job whoi would of thougt there be mixing it with the top teams every races of couse tyres have made this possabal . HOwever i don't think monaco will suit the car as much nor will it be that good in canada after that is tesco car park which is also slow and twisty so again don't there forto so i think they will have to wait till silverston till they have a track that will suit there car and be this time the other teams should of got a hold of there tyres so we will see if they can get that win

Haveing said all that the way this years going who knows what will happen so go kimi :D

There is a great possibility of that at the moment. They seem to be the most consistent tandem at the moment, and they should both have excellent chances at victory in Monaco, but I say we need a few more races to see who else seems to pick up the consistency.
