I'll add that that name is not written with an hyphen, it's Miguel Ángel. Doubt it has anything with the problem though :)

Try change for old style office design. For me mich better... and many even don't know about it.
Also english language version looks much better in this game ;)

I enjoy Pirate version the most.
For example:

Passin' by: Yer be car'ful
Ballast security: Leav' 't loose
Food eat'n: Nay Hungry
Sail Wear: Min'r tears
P.S. Currently thinking over Oar Merchant selection :)

I remember they made the great Gordon Ashford put that translation together. What a job he did.
