Well done Jason. Thanks for organizing Keith.
I will skip November because I do not have the time atm to check for all matches, I might be back in December.

The unofficial October team classification (for nations represented by more than one participant of the contest) was won by ENGLAND. Congratulations, Chris, Steven, and Cameron.
While we lost the single participants from Croatia and Netherlands, in October one more team appeared in comparison to September --> BRAZIL, who shared the 2nd place with September winners PORTUGAL. As both teams speak the same language and share also important historical relations I hope they like the situation ;-)
* India, Hongkong - 15.00 [1 participant each team] * Belgium - 14.00 [1] * France - 13.00 [1] 1. ENGLAND - 12.33 [3] * Malaysia - 12.00 [1] 2. BRAZIL, PORTUGAL - 11.50 [2] * Estonia, Hungary, Romania, Spain - 11.00 [1] 4. POLAND - 10.33 [3] 5. GREECE - 10.00 [3] * Ireland, Mexico - 9.00 [1] 6. BULGARIA - 8.00 [2] * Wales - 8.00 [1]
The Portuguese average score of September (19.00 of 2 players) seems to be sky high now... And October results claim, that strong competitor teams can emerge in Asia, if only Jason, Jun, or Lyee will be able to find mates to join the contest.
See you at the end of the November classification.

Thanks for that Paweł... Will bring in the country YTD Table in January when the New year starts... if I am still around to do MoF then of course!!!!
Quote ( Keith Partridge @ October 31st 2021,23:38:45 ) @Steven Rose (A50) I will check tomorrow when I do the YTD for the November thread....
@Steven Rose (A50) Found the issue with YTD. Not sure if it was related to the other problems I had earlier with your entries but it had you (and Vencislav) scoring zero for February..... The YTD position are correct though as your February score of 10 was not one of your 6 highest so the only change was to show you had competed in 9 months this year.....

Keith, I was actually going to suggest this, if you at all would like to treat this UNOFFICIAL until now classification as a new spice added to the contest. Btw. I actually hoped that some of the participants would have motivation to bring to the game some new players, their countrymates - but October and November don't seem to confirm this intuition/hope of mine - the MoF game community seems to be rather stable, with few newcomers).
In such a case we'd need to think how to aggregate the monthly team results. The easiest way is probably to add them like you do with individual points, but there is a problem if some team not all months have 2 or more players (thus is not included in the month's classification, despite the fact that someone still from that team participated). We could use the sum with zeros everywhere, where concrete team had one player, or zero. But I am afraid that after a few months then such a classifciation would be very niche, with very few being involved.
So maybe: - sum of best ten results of twelve? - sum of best six results of twelve? - sum of all results, but using 50% of score where the team had only one participants (then actually all countries can participate all the time), and 0% where no team's representative appeared in the month's classification.
There is also always the possibility to leave this classification just as it is, an unofficial fun fact published at the month's end...
